Ranked best modern university in london (complete university guide 2017), Roehampton boasts a beautiful 60 acre campus situated in the heart of south-west london, close to trendy Putney and the affluent Richmond. As with our other london campuses, Roehampton is just a short trip into the city with trains taking you to world famous london sights in 25 minutes.

Being situated in the south-west of london, Roehampton has great access to some of london’s most famous green areas. These include Putney Heath, Wimbledon common and of course the gigantic Richmond park, where wild deer still roam. The quiet village feel of the campus makes a nice change after spending the day among the bustle of the city.

Roehampton has a great campus, where modern comfort and first-class facilities meet peaceful, green open spaces. students will stay in campus accommodation, where single en-suite or single standard rooms with shared bathrooms are available. All rooms have access to a communal area and kitchen facilities, shared between 6 to 8 rooms.

SAFEgUARDINg child safeguarding forms an integral part of staff training. All our staff, including the london Head Office senior management team, teachers, activity leaders and host families undertake a dBs security checks (or similar police checks if they come or have travelled from outside the uK) prior to employment.

STUDENT WELFARETo ensure that students are safe at all times we have put the following measures in place:

all lessons, activities and excursions are compulsory, teachers take attendance and suitable site-specific arrangements are made with regard to following up students’ absences

students are monitored during all on-site and off-site activities and to ensure their safety and well-being, clear age and location dependent rules are provided regarding breaks and unsupervised times and these procedures are watched carefully

all staff, students and their supervisors are made aware of the lsc safeguarding policy, respectively to their roles, information is available prior enrolment and guidance is provided during recruitment and training and through ongoing support from the lsc Head Office team

all of our university campuses are carefully selected for their safety and security ensured by 24 hour on-site personnel

students are issued with Id cards with 24 hour emergency contact information and a First Aid trained member of staff is available at the centre

in case any issues occur, advice is always available from on-site management, staff and other supervisors
