L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5

Hi all!

How's your hair today? Feeling dry, brittle, and sad? L'Oreal Paris has come up with Total Repair. Let's see what they say on the website loreal.co.id during L'Oreal Paris Total Race 5 in Bali:

L’Oréal Paris Total Race 5 in Bali

27/04/2011Dalam rangka meluncurkan rangkaian produk perawatan

melalui Total Repair 5.

Kegiatan sehari-hari seperti menyisir

rambut terlalu sering serta penggunaan alat penata rambut bertemperatur tinggi seperti pengering, pelurus serta pengkeriting

rambut pun semakin memperparah kondisi kesehatan rambut.

mendandani rambutnya sendiri tanpa bantuan stylist.

After reading a bit of their 'history' let me share you my review.

The shampoo is a delicate pearly white glow creamy texture that easily lathered up and turns into massive amount of foam. I do have a habit of overused a product and ended up wasting it. For my long hair I use around 5 ml and it gives me a clean hair with a fresh floral scent. There's a softness added to my hair that can be felt instantly. My scalp is a bit oily and most shampoo can't tame the sebum, I'm

glad to say Total Repair by L'Oreal Paris doesn't aggravate my scalp, nice!

The conditioner. Use it after the shampoo and making sure all the shampoo in the

hair rinse properly. If you still feel dirty, you can shampoo your hair twice. Then apply the conditioner about halfway through your hair

and all the way down. Avoiding the scalp at all cost. The conditioner is made for your hair strands, not for the scalp. It can make the

scalp oily and you wont like the limp effect.

Now make sure all the hair ends get secured with the conditioner and massage it a bit (very little movement) just to made sure all the ends get conditioned. Wait around 2-3 minutes before rinsing. I feel

my hair become slippery and yes, that's what conditioner is for, creating like a thin film on your hair so further damage wont

happen. The scent is mild and floral as well.

Page 4: loreal

The mask.

This is my favorite!!! The scent is soooo addictive and I just love how thick it is. White, so thick and creamy. My hair indulge in the texture and the scent. I use it after shampooing and towel dry my hair. I use a gallop size and massage through the hair strands, not

really that close to my scalp, again I have oily scalp. I leave it on for 5 minutes, I know the instruction says 1 minute, but I like to take my

time ^__^

Rinsing is a breeze, usually some mask need more time and buckets of water to rinse it thoroughly, this mask is easy. After rinsing I

toweled it and use hair dryer as normal. Unfortunately the scent doesn't last long but the smoothness, glow, and strength, did. That's

the good news.

I recommend to use the conditioner daily but if you already use the mask, no need to follow up with conditioner, except if you really got

dry hair. And all three of them is must try products ^___-- enjoy!

Last but not least, all of you Indonesian probably already know Dian Sastrowardoyo is the official ambassador and she is heading to

Cannes and walk on the red carpet with all the gorgeous people in the world. so do stay tune and follow their official page in Facebook

Review: L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5

Page 7: loreal

With the endless possibilities of

hair styles, we expose our hair to external aggressors such as

chemicals, heat and even excessive brushing or combing. Isn't it

ironic that the efforts we put into making our hair look good are

actually damaging it?

L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 hair care range targets the five

major problems of Asian hair:

1. Breakage

2. Dryness

3. Dullness

4. Coarseness

5. Split ends

Read on for the review. There's an important poll I need you to take

at the end of this post so, even if f you're not interested in this

review, please read on anyway!

Page 8: loreal

According to

L'Oreal, the strength of the hair diminishes as external aggressors

contribute to the loss of cement-ceramide, which is responsible for

holding the hair scales (outermost layer of the hair) together.

L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 hair care range contains Cement-

Ceramide that embeds itself in the spaces between the hair scales

to strengthen the hair structure, repairing damage.

Er, that sort of makes sense, right? Though, what matters is if they

really work, despite what the claims are.

Repairing Shampoo

(RM11.90/180ml and RM22.90/375ml)

Especially for damaged, devitalized hair. Repairs the hair without

weighing it down.

Lots of foam. Hair feels tangle free after washing.

Repairing Conditioner

(RM21.90/180ml and RM24.90/375ml)

Completes the shampooing process by adding body to each hair

shaft and untangling the hair.

Page 9: loreal

Kinda creamy but still lightweight. Hair feels silky after conditioning.

Repairing Night Essence

(RM36.90/150ml)

Takes advantage of the nighttime resting period to intensely

transform the substance of the hair.

Non-sticky. Hair feels bouncy in the morning.

The range has that classic fruity-floral shampoo scent that I do not

particularly crave.

Wow. That has got to be the dullest review ever.

To be honest, my hair isn't suffering from much damage in the first

place. My hair hasn't been dyed or processed in any way for quite a

long time. I rarely use heating appliances on my hair (just the

occasional straightening iron). Heck, I don't even brush my hair all

that often!

Out of five, I only have two problems with my hair; dryness and

coarseness. But the biggest problems with my locks are frizziness

and stubbornness.

I was using the range for two weeks or so and thought that it was

pretty good until I noticed certain changes to my hair. Yes, they

appear more tamed but the fact that I was feeling the need to wash

my hair more often was getting frustrating. I don't like washing my

hair everyday because I like how it looks on the 1st or 2nd

unwashed day when my natural oils start to smooth out my hair. In

the weeks that I was using the Total Repair 5 range, my hair

seemed to have become unbearably greasy at the end of the 1st

unwashed day. My scalp would start to itch and I'd get greasy scalp

matter under my nails. Ugh. I stopped using the range for awhile

and my hair was back to normal.

Page 10: loreal

I decided that this was not a range that I feel comfortable using long

term and I refuse to wash my hair everyday. I'm still using the

products but only one at a time. For instance, if I'm using the Total

Repair 5 shampoo, I'd use a different brand of conditioner.

The only product in the range that I can single out would be

the Repairing Night Essence. It's not spectacular but I like the

texture and how it makes my hair look the next day.

L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 hair care range is available in most

leading pharmacies, health care stores and supermarkets. Also

available in the range is the Deep Repairing Mask (RM27.90/200ml).

The beautiful Aishwarya Rai is the face

of L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5. This should explain my pose in the

first picture, eh?

IMPORTANT!!

L: With long hair in

2008. R: With short hair in 2010

I'm at a very frustrating crossroad. Long hair or short hair?

Without a doubt, I prefer myself with short hair but I miss having

long hair! The flipping and the twirling...

Now I have mid-length hair (which I hate!) and I can't decide if I

should persevere and keep growing it or chop it off.

messy as you can always say its meant to be wavy... I am at

Germaine: I'd straighten but my hair doesn't wanna remain

straighten for more than an hour. plus I generally despise stick

I think short hair is cuter. It brings out the childness in you. :)
