BAY AREA SHOWDOWN: The Dodgers tonight begin a four-game series against their National League West rivals, the San Francisco Giants, to finish their seven-game road trip. Los Angeles avoided its first series sweep of the season yesterday, after rallying for six runs in the fifth inning to comeback and win 6-2 over the Diamondbacks. Following the four-game set in the Bay Area, the Dodgers will return home for a six-game homestand against the Philadelphia Phillies and the San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers look to snap a five-game losing streak in San Francisco, their longest losing streak since dropping seven consecutive games in the Bay Area from April 21- Sept. 28, 2015. Los Angeles lost the 2016 season series 8-11 against the Giants, including a 2-8 mark at AT&T Park for their second straight season. ROMO RETURNS: Dodger reliever Sergio Romo, who signed a one-year contract with the club, returns to his old stomping grounds tonight after spending his first nine seasons with the Giants (2008-16). In 515 games with San Francisco, Romo posted a 32-26 record with a 2.58 ERA and 84 saves. He ranks seventh in Giants franchise history in saves and his 498 strikeouts were the second-most by a reliever in club history behind only Gary Lavelle. He won World Series titles in 2010, 2012 and 2014 with the Giants and has a career 3-1 record with four saves and a 3.09 ERA in 27 postseason appearances. Romo was selected by San Francisco in the 28 th round of the 2005 First-Year Player Draft. GONE STREAKING: Justin Turner kept his hitting streak alive with a single in the fifth inning in yesterday’s contest, extending the streak to nine games. Turner has gone 12-for-34 (.353) with three runs, four doubles, four RBI and four hit by pitches, along with a .463 on-base percentage and a .471 slugging percentage during the run which started on April 13. He has pitched well in San Francisco throughout his career, going 4-2 with a 3.74 ERA (14 ER/33.2 IP) and posting a 1.19 WHIP in six starts, while limiting the opposition to a .238 average (31-for-130). SEAGER SMOOTH: Corey Seager, who put the Dodgers on the board yesterday with a two-run double in the fifth inning, finished the contest going 2-for-3 with two walks as he tied Justin Turner for the team lead with his seventh multi-hit game of the year. Seager has hit safely in 10 of his last 13 games, batting .333 (16-for-48) with nine runs, four doubles, two homers and 10 RBI. BAY AREA SHOWDOWN: The Dodgers tonight begin a

four-game series against their National League West rivals,

the San Francisco Giants, to finish their seven-game road trip.

Los Angeles avoided its first series sweep of the season

yesterday, after rallying for six runs in the fifth inning to

comeback and win 6-2 over the Diamondbacks. Following the

four-game set in the Bay Area, the Dodgers will return home for

a six-game homestand against the Philadelphia Phillies and the

San Francisco Giants.

The Dodgers look to snap a five-game losing streak in

San Francisco, their longest losing streak since dropping
