Signed intake forms are no longer needed at this me. Young Riders Horse Club If you like horses, make plans to join the Young Riders Horse Club! This aſterschool club will meet once a month to learn about our equine friends & have fun! You do NOT have to own or ride a Horse to parcipate in this Club! Congratulaons to our Young Riders 4-H Horse Club for winning 1st Place in the Club Booth Compeon at the Elberton 12-County Fair. Meeng dates: November 16th and December 14th from 3:00-5:00pm at the 4-H Center. Students must follow current COVID protocols. Cloverleaf District Project Achievement Project Achievement is one of the BEST acvies you can do as a 4-Her! Students who competed last year at DPA and those students who competed in Project Fair should sign up to compete in Northeast District Cloverleaf (5th & 6th grades) this year, which is a VIRTUAL event! Sign up with Ms. Lauren or Ms. Sophie today! Elbert County 4-H can register up to four 5th graders and four 6th graders per project area. The last day to sign up is Wednesday, November 18th. Details about the compeon will be shared with students who sign up! Choose to Reuse We all know how important the 3Rs arereduce, reuse and recycle! We have a new project that we will be conquering at our next Choose to Reuse Project Club Meeng aſter school at the 4-H Center on Wednesday, November 18th, 3:00-5:00pm. Students must abide by current COVID protocols. Lamb Show Project

Congratulations to Landon Williams for a successful show at the Georgia National Fair and the Gwinnet County Fair. Landon won 8th Grade Showmanship!

Dairy Show Project

Congratulations to Leah Higginbotham for her work with her dairy heifer, Maggie, and for her performance at the Georgia National Fair and Gwinnet County Fair. Leah won her showmanship at Gwinnett.

Club Booths at the Fair Elbert County 4-H Young Riders Horse Club was not the only booth that placed well at the Elberton 12-County Fair! As a matter of fact, our 4-H Booths swept the competition! The general 4-H booth placed 2nd and the Cloverbuds booth placed 3rd! We appreciate everyone who helped create the booths, including: Josue Bravo, Zurina Dillard, Layla Haynes, Julie Hazle, Yamilet Martinez, Merci Crace Mooney, Dessie Lee Santiago, Allie Stephens, Haleigh Todd, Julianna Walsky and Samantha Walsky!

Barn Work at the Fair We cannot THANK all of our 4-H’ers and volunteers enough for the many hours they spent working the 4-H Barn at the Elberton 12-County Fair! A big shout of appreciation to: Addy, Emma & Nate Albertson, Zurina Dillard, Julie Hazle, Gracie Kidd, Harrison & Kennedy Ray, Dawson Scarborough, Braedon Sizemore, Kayleigh Smith, Slayter Smith, Neva Smith, Julianna & Samantha Walsky and Jalyn White.
