LUCA AQUINOROCK 4.0

Between aQustico and his future album OverDoors, a tribute to the Doors to be released in 2015, the Italian trumpet player Luca Aquino decided to celebrate its 40th Anniversary

recording this album ROCK 4.0.

During his worldwide tour through Europe, Africa and Japan, Aquino decided with his friends to record, in Paris and Benevento, those original compositions and some versions of hits of

Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Radiohead and Jim Morrison.

Luca says :

I always loved Rock Music but I used to say that Jazz has been the key for my understanding of the beauty and power of this music.

ROCK 4.0 is a feast, simple and boisterous, between distorted guitars, beers and converse colored.I want to thank the musicians who accepted to take part to this project :

Marco Bardoscia and Dario Miranda (bass), Raffaele Casarano and Javier Girotto (saxophones),

Antonio Jasevoli (guitar), Claudio Coccoluto (beats),

About Luca :

Luca Aquino is one the finest musician that I met in the last five years!His sound is powerful, beautiful, round and sharp!

A great sense of playing the right notes at the right moment and a great intelligence of placing himself inside a band.

As a solo player, I think he has a real ability for writing and choosing on each of his records original line up!I guess he is and will be part of the famous musician making the world of Jazz shining!
