cause she is passionate about. Most
recently Beyoncé has been posting
pictures of a historical Black people for
Black History month.
By sharing pictures of fans in particular,
Beyoncé is connected with her audience on a
level that acknowledges their existence, and
appreciates them. Beyoncé fans feel engaged
because they know she posts these pictures
herself, Beyoncé prides herself on being a part
of all the content that is distributed throughout
her various social media platforms. Fans know
that if they attend a concert and let themselves
be known, Beyoncé's photographer will capture
them and she will put them on the blog.
All Tumblr photos are of me at the Beyoncé
concert in Toronto 2013.
Beyoncé recently released a digital album solely on iTunes without the help of the media or any sort of advertisements. Beyoncé's success
can be attributed to her reputation in the media. When it was announced via Instagram that her album was release, sales went through the
roof with many people claiming Beyoncé had “broke the internet”. By engaging honestly with her fans, Beyoncé successfully released the
best selling digital album with no advertisements in history. This achievement would not be possible had she not been active on so many
forms of social media.
Beyoncé is a philanthropist and humanitarian. She continues to engage with her audience through
surprise visits to stores, social events that support a cause, and trying to better the lives of those that
need it. As an A-List star Beyoncé rarely does meet and greets, but she is sure to let her audience know
that she is a part of their life and the lives of many.
