General provisions covering booth customisations and technical fact sheet describing standard booth package

1. Standard Booth

1.1 Description IThe supply of one standard module measuring 5 x 5 m (the distance between the center line of two uprights) includes:

• modular structure composed of uprights and cross pieces in anodised aluminium with 8 x 8 cm cross- section;• floor 8 cm high with finishings: thick laminated floorboards; recommended max stand floor load (evenly- distributed) 500 kg/sqm Attention: on the aisle side the pillars are 5 m back from floor;• white stretch fabric partitions separating booth• tensioned fabric fascia panel from a height of 3 to 5 meters:• mesh suspended ceiling at a height of 5 meters;• standard lighting includes two elements per 25 sqm; each element includes four x 150 watt spotlights;• one three-way 220V power outlet per 25 sqm, totalling 1500 watt, positioned near the uprights of the standard booth (additional power outlets must be requested in the specific Optional section);• booth identification sign (40 x 40 cm) indicating the Exhibitor’s name, trademarks (if any) and booth number, red letters on white background

General fitting is completed by direction indicators: upright flag-shaped with red letters on white background, 32-cm wide max., that are arranged in strategic points within the halls, preferably at the crossings or along the most interesting aisles

1.2 OptionalTo meet display requirements, standard booths may also include a number of optionals that may be ordered online from WAY Spa Allestimenti order form.Optionals include:

• solid load and/or non-load bearing wall, finishing: painted (water-based enamel) or unpainted;• hollow load bearing wall; finishing: painted (water-based enamel) or unpainted;• stretch fabric partition;• suspended ceiling at a height of 3 m from the ground;• white laminated storage unit;• volume;• spotlights on busbar;• additional busbar;• electrical accessories (sockets, extension cords, 32A/64A control panels);• Russian-speaking electricians to connect control panels with Russian certification, under the Exhibitor’s supervision.

2. Booth customisation regulations

It is possible to design one’s own fitting inside the booth, taking into consideration not to cover, remove or damage the standard booth. We wish to point out that the ultimate success of the event will depend on the joint efforts of all the exhibitors, who are required to fully comply with the regulations below.

2.1 Booth furnishings set backVolumes, walls or exhibiting structures are allowed to be designed as long as they are not taller than 3 m max. However, we inform you that underneath the crosspieces the allowed max. height is 292.50 cm and that under the lightings the standard fitting is 262.50 cm.

In case panelling is applied on close sides, it is compulsory to withdraw 8 cm, equal to the dimension of the standard fitting column.

Trademarks or logos are allowed to be displayed on own external perimeter walls, with the maximum thickness of 5 cm.

All the fitting elements must be prefabricated and prepainted.

2.2 Walls across fronts of free sidesPerimeter walls may be installed across free sides using only the optional panels supplied by the official fitting contractors for common areas.Panelling on aisle sides must include a decorative motif (i.e. 10 cm wide vertical stripes) in the colour combination of Pantone Warm gray 1U and Pantone 400UBooth internal walls may be in any colour and must be ordered from WAY Spa Allestimenti, using the Optional order form.

For booths with three or four free sides, an opening of at least 20% must be left in the position that best suits the exhibitor, provided that no two adjacent sides are closed.All openings must comply with safety regulations and will be subject to the final approval of Crocus Expo.

2.3 Suspended ceilingsSuspended ceilings are allowed to be installed provided that:• they do not cover more than 50% of the total booth area; • they are set back 8 cm from the outer edge of the booth;• their lower edge is 262.50 cm from the ground;• they do not exceed the maximum load bearing capacity of the shell scheme and do not damage it;• they are black or white.

Booth design plans must indicate the exact position of all suspended ceilings; should suspended ceilings be erected over the lighting systems supplied with standard booth, no lights will be installed for safety reasons.

In any case, we remind you that the final approval will be given by Crocus Expo.

2.4 FlooringExhibitors are allowed to install their own floors over the flooring provided with the standard booth, provided that:

• it does not damage the existing flooring;• the supplied skirting boards are used without any change

2.5 LightingExhibitors are allowed to install decorative and ambient lighting fixtures.For particular lighting requirements, exhibitors may also install architectural lighting, provided that:

• the busbar supplied as an optional is used;• adjacent booths are not disturbed in any way.

We wish to remind you that the installed power cannot exceed the maximum level delivered for the individual display module, as indicated in “2.9 Electrical wiring systems”.

2.6 Graphic art (trademarks and logos)Trademarks and logos may be affixed to lightweight mobile structures (stands) provided that they do not exceed 210 cm in height and 75 cm in width. Such stands may be placed along the edge of all free sides.

Trademarks or logos are also allowed to be displayed on the external perimeter walls or on other volumes (see art. 2.1 Booth furnishings set back).No trademarks or logos are allowed on the fabric fascia.

2.7 RiggingObjects and lights are allowed to be hung from the ceilings of standard booth provided that they weigh less than 6 kg/lm. Only one suspended load max 40 kg is allowed within each booth module (5 x 5 meters); feasability has to be approved by WAY Spa Allestimenti by sending drawing with each exact position.

Heavier loads will be rigged to the structural frame of the building. In this latter case, or by WAY Spa Allestimenti suggestion, the exhibitor must request rigging service through the online ‘Service’ section and upload the following technical documents, both in Italian and Russian, with the booth project:

• dimensions of structures or of the lights or other elements to be hung (length, height ,depth); • layout and booth localisation in exhibition area;• floor plan of the exhibitor’s booth with the exact position of the requested hang-points;• weight (maximum load per individual hang-point) of the lamps or other elements to be hung;• height of the suspension hook from the platform floor;

The aforesaid documents must be forwarded together with booth customization plans and will be submitted by the organizer to the approval of the relevant Crocus Expo technical departments.

Furthermore, a request must be submitted to supply a power outlet for each lamp, if the standard one was not sufficient. (Please see specific WAY Spa Allestimenti Optional order form).

Product display units (panels and hard ceilings for hanging lights) are not allowed to be attached to the structural frame of the building.

2.8 Architectural and safety constraintsAll columns and pillars, located within stands and on which electrical and fire extinguishing systems are installed, are covered with non-load bearing wood framed panels (3 m high) lined with stretch fabric.No booth customisation elements or products are allowed be placed in the immediate vicinity of these panels, to ensure that Crocus Center personnel can access and inspect the installations whenever necessary.Moreover, products are not allowed to be positioned in safety aisles (indicated on the 1:100 scale floor plan of assigned booths); safety aisles must remain clear at all times.

2.9 Electrical wiring systemsIn order to assemble the electrical system and to place lighting elements, exhibitors are allowed to:• use their own specialised personnel (or that of their local importers) holding the qualifications specified in the provisions of the official Crocus Expo stand fitters, Buildexpo, contained in the “Electrical Works Regulations applied at the International Exhibition Centre Crocus Expo”

• contact WAY Spa Allestimenti (partner of BuildExpo) no later than 21st July 2017. WAY Spa Allestimenti will provide any help that may be needed to complete the form and finalise all the implementation details with exhibitors.

NB. Please note that the electrical sockets are allowed to be placed only by the corner columns. If they are not indicated in the project design, they will be positioned at fitter’s choice.

3. Deadlines and obligations

Regardless of booth size, article 16 of the General Regulations state that all booth plans must be uploaded to the specific exhibitor section for approval by MADE expo WorldWide Technical Department no later than 7th July 2017.

After this date, Crocus Expo will examine late submissions separately and charge the cost to the exhibitor.We also inform you that:

• booth project can be examined only after the compilation and upload of the “Documents required to access the exhibition venue”;• booth plans must indicate the exact location of the power outlet supplied with the standard booth, and of any additional outlets and/or installations requested from WAY Spa Allestimenti;• without the MADE expo WordWide Technical Office approval it will not be possible to book or rent any of the optionals offered by Way Spa Allestimenti;• For further technical information regarding structures to be suspended or secured to walls, or optionals, please contact WAY Spa Allestimenti directly.
