English Corner “Great teachers inspire… great teachers motivate… great teachers change the world…”

(Educating with Person-Longman)

Year after year Los Portales school has been connecting the different strategies suggested to do of our English´s area a real field of learning and especially applying playful and didactic strategies that take our students to the real significant learning. Using the common European frame as reference describing abilities which can be applied to any language and can be used to set clear targets for achievements within language learning. It has now become accepted as a way of benchmarking lan-guage ability all over the world. It provides a basis for the mutual recog-nition of language qualifications, thus facilitating educational and occu-pational mobility. It is increasingly used in the reform of national curric-ula and by international consortia for the comparison of language cer-tificates.

Of course, Los Portales School has a subconscious learning system. You learn grammar by listening to our crazy Mini-Stories, videos or movies. We carefully repeat grammar patterns during the story… but you don’t think about any rules. You just listen and enjoy the story consciously… but subconsciously, your brain learns English grammar. Learn English subconsciously and finally speak excellent English!
