beauty PR, from the PRs themselves.

In this summer issue weve also fo-cused on Chanel and their looks fromthe summer makeup collection, aswell as how the celebrities are wear-ing the designer beauty trend. As weall know A girl should be two things:classy and fabulous. Coco Chanel

So many people often wonderwhat is the role of PR in theWorld of Beauty, what do theydo and what their typical work-ing day looks like. Its also inter-esting to hear their opinion aboutthe on-line media. Two lovely PRgirls shared their thoughts withus, please enjoy their interviews.

    Ellie, PR Manager for ElemisUK

What was your career path to Beauty Public Relations?

After University with a degree inPR & Marketing I had the ambi-tion to work in the Music Indus-try and not actually beauty. Itwasnt until I got a job as anevents co-ordinator for a hair-dresser that it opened a new set ofdoors and I started into the worldof beauty. After working in thehairdressing world for over 4years, and working with the likesof TONI&GUY/ Essensuals, I tooka big step and moved to work in

    beauty skincare and have never

    looked back since.

Can you explain what the role of aPress Officer is?

My role as a Senior Press Officeris to liaise with beauty journaliststo build the awareness of the El-emis brand from productlaunches, spa therapies, location,

news and eventsand build on thereputation ofour directorswithin the in-

    dustry.This includeswriting press re-leases, eventm a n a g e m e n tand strategy forfuture Elemislaunches to

    brainstormingcreative ideas to

make Elemisstand out in acompetitive in-dustry.

Can you tell us about a typical work-ing day?

In PR everyday is a different daywhich keeps the job interesting. It

can be that Ive seen an interestingarticle that spurs an idea for a fu-ture article which I could pitch tothe journalist to organizing meet-ings with beauty journalists topitching product /spa therapyideas for features. Its never quiet in the Elemis pressoffice especially as were cele- brating 20 years! There alwayssomething to do take today forexample; Team meeting in themorning, organizing a pressproduct launch for the end of themonth, preparing a Christmas

preview in July, writing acouple of releases, pu ingtogether a few beautyawards entries, reading theweekend coverage / news-papers, dealing with charityrequests to going throughmy endless emails and mak-ing sure I meet press dead-lines.

What do you enjoy most aboutyour job?

    There is nothing more excit-

ing than seeing a story orproduct you have pitchedfeatured. I still get the same buzz as I did when I rststarted in PR.Oh and also working as anElemis employee its great toexperience all the lovelyproducts and spa therapytreatments rst hand.

How have bloggers changedthe beauty landscape?

Its been very exciting to seehow this has evolved nowthere are so many beauty bloggers its hard to keepup!I think its denitely a great

opportunity for beautylovers to post their honestcomments about a productespecially as consumers butalso be updated with newson the go.As a PR its means we canget news out instantly.Blogging is hugely inuen-tial on consumers and othermedia channels, so they areimportant for us to get toknow and work with.

    makeup products to use insummer?

Im loving PhilosophysKiss Me SPF 20 Red LipBalm. The cool minty balmand red colouring is perfectfor my skin tone.Oh and Laura Mercierstinted moisturizer and myPro-Collagen Marine Creamare my other summer

beauty essentials.Do you have a beauty trickthat always works?

Whenever I get a pimple Iuse Elemis Herbal Laven-der Repair Mask directly onit and leave it on overnight. It denitely reduces the sizein the morning.

Sophie, Retail PR and Cor-porate Communicationsfor World Duty Free lo-cated at airports.

What was your career path toBeauty Public Relations?

At 16 I did work experiencein a very small Public Rela-tions office in my home-town and absolutely loved

it! I was determined to get a de-gree that gave me hands on expe-rience and that made meemployable immediately aftergraduation. With three A Levelsin English, French and Psychol-ogy I was often advised by teach-ers to pursue a degree in a puresubject like English. Worried thatI would leave university still notknowing what I really wanted todo, I decided to go down the vo-cational route and so went toBournemouth University to studyfor a BA in Public Relations. The

third year of the course was acompulsory years work experi-ence in a press office and after in-terviewing, I accepted the role ofPR Intern at a large international

brand renowned for its prestigeskincare. Itwas this yearworking in asmall team

of three thatignited mypassion forthe Beautyworld (thep r o d u c t sand the peo-ple), and mylove of PRand commu-

n i c a t i o n s .Even though it was hard to dragmyself away, I went back to uni-versity for my nal year and twodays after nishing my nalexam, I was lucky enough to starta new job as a PR Assistant in anextremely busy press office for aninternational consumer beauty

brand. A year and a half later, Inow look after the PR and Corpo-rate Comms for one of the UKslargest duty-free chains WDF pro-moting its 90 stores, the categoryof airport shopping and the fan-

tastic travel exclusive productsacross all categories, includingBeauty.

Can you explain what the role of aPress Officer is?

Ultimately, the role of a Press Of-cer is to promote the brand/product/service you repre-sent through the local, nationaland international media online,in writing, on the radio and onTV. We are often also providingadvice to all staff on media mat-

ters, always monitoring and eval-uating press coverage, supportingdepartmental and corporateevents and occasionally manag-ing crisis communications. In my opinion, the role of a pressofficer is predominantly one ofservice provision. I believe itscrucial to work in a journalist-rst culture and to provide what

is needed whether thats pressreleases, images, prices, inter-views, quotes, etc - in a timelyand professional manner. I neverforget that journalism is a dead-line driven profession and if Icant provide whats needed in atimely manner, there are plenty ofother people who can! This is es-pecially true in the highly com-

petitive beauty world. A goodPress Officer needs to be avail-able, well informed and helpful atall times.

A large part of being a Press Offi-cer is relationship building with journalists of course, but also withsuppliers, retailers and even other brands. PRs are often seen as theface of the company we workfor, an ambassador so it reallyhelps if you believe in whatyoure representing.

    6/326 SUMMER/2010

    Meet e Beauty PRs

Can you tell us about a typicalworking day?

Theres rarely a day at workthat I would describe as typi-cal! The rst thing I do is checkmy Blackberry on the train intowork to check for any requeststhat may have come in betweenclocking off the evening be-fore. If there are any, I get towork straight away on our re-sponses. I always pick up a va-riety of papers and magazinesto read on my journey in, andam also subscribed to inuen-tial blogs and news alert serv-ices to read en-route to keepabreast of whats going on inthe media. In my current role, I am respon-sible for communicating to awide range of media on a vastarray of topics so its importantI keep on top of the newswor-thy stories within the business. This means a lot of internalmeetings catching up with allthe commercial teams on whatnew products are going in,whats coming up and whatnew stores were launching etc. This in turn leads to an infor-mation gathering phase to helpus write press releases, pinpointmedia that might be interestedin the story, organise photogra-phy, relevant quotes etc.Any typical working day can

be completely altered by an im-portant press request so a cer-tain degree of exibility isessential!

What do you enjoy most aboutyour job?

I love the variety of PR no two

days are the same! One day youcould be working on an eventplan to launch a new store and

the next day you could be hold-ing emergency meetings on the back of an unforeseen crisis. Ilove the immediacy and thepace at which youre forced towork theres never a chance toget bored in PR. I also regularlycount my blessings workingin beauty means youre alwaysworking with really lovely andfriendly people who all sharethe same passion.

How have bloggers changed thebeauty landscape?

Bloggers have made bigchanges to the beauty landscapein recent years in my opinion. To many PRs, blogging is ascary world because its anotherstep away from any form ofcontrol. Your products are nolonger able to hide behind big

brand names or powerful ad-vertising spends theyre triedand tested in an honest way andthrown open to judgement anddiscussion thats available forthe whole world to read. Whilstthats scary for some, its incred-ibly exciting for others. For meas a regular reader of beauty

blogs, I absolutely relish thehonesty of blogs, knowing thatwhat I am reading has gen-uinely been tested and wri enabout in truth. Theres de-nitely an acceptance now that

beauty blogging and the onlineworld cant be ignored, and I

am really interested to watchhow the relationship between

beauty brands and bloggersevolves as time goes on.

Your personal favourite makeupproducts to use in summer?

I cant live without MaybellineXXL waterproof mascara anytime of the year (but its partic-ularly good for summer swim-ming) which I wear along witha ick of Bobbi Brown Long-wear Gel Eyeliner. The newDiorSkin Nude foundation is

beautiful for summer justenough coverage to make yourskin luminous and dewy and itdoesnt completely camouagemy summer freckles. A gener-ous sweep of Armanis SheerBronzer (for daytime) or BobbiBrown Shimmer Brick (forevenings) really make you looksunkissed. And its all heldrmly in place by using Shu Ue-muras UV Under Base which isthe only product Ive everfound that stops my makeuprunning down my face on asweaty overcrowded Londontube in August!

Do you have a beauty trick that al-ways works?

Every morning I heat my Shueyelash curlers with a quick

blast of my hair dryer to reallyset the curl in my lashes (whichare naturally poker straight). Ittakes some practice to get thelength of time under thehairdryer right though youneed to know exactly what tem-perature to go for! You onlyneed to scorch your eyelids

    once to learn that lesson!

    18/3218 SUMMER/2010

So many of you loved the Blogos-pheric Beauty from the SpringIssue that I had to include this

section in the Summer Issue aswell. Find out what beauty blog-gers from all over the World thinkabout summer essentials.

    Michelle from MupNorthh p://mupnorth.blogspot.com/

What makeup and beauty prod-ucts should be a must-have insummer?

For me, Summer skin andmakeup is all about looking fresh, natural and dewy so must-havemakeup products are cream

blushes that gives a pop of color, cream highlighter, a sheer washof shimmery eyeshadow on thelids (think Mac Naked Lunch)and lipgloss with spf (favorite isDior Crme de Rose lip balm). Becareful, you want to look dewy not gli ery or sweaty!

What are your favourite bronzersand self-tanners?

My Holy Grail bronzer isShisheido Luminizing Color Pow-der in Golden Bronze. Its got twoshades of bronzer and one high-lighter so you can mix these to getthe perfect shade to match yourskin. Its amazing AND its rell-able!All though I dont use self tannersmuch, the only one I will use isSt.Tropez whipped bronzemousse. Best tip I ever got is toapply it with a beauty blender

type sponge and dab it on. Youkeep your hands clean and youllget no streaks!

What is on your wishlist fromsummer 2010 makeup collec-tions?

On top of my wish list (need, want, must have!!) is both of theDior 5 coulour eyeshadowpale es (drool!). I would love totry out a Nars Multiple tint too.

    Aleksis from Alpha Blondeh p://alpha-blonde.blogspot.com/

What makeup and beauty prod-ucts should be a must-have insummer?

A makeup spri er like evianspray water or Fix+/Coral lipgloss/lipstick and a great bronzer!

What are your favourite bronzersand self-tanners?

My favorite bronzer is NARS 'la-guna'(although I'm looking for anew one as this one makes my jawline breakout) and I am LOV-ING Bare Escentuals faux tan self-tanner

What is on your wishlist fromsummer 2010 makeup collec-tions?

Actually nothing in particular...Ido want a lot of Buxom items (lipgloss/lipstick/eyeliner/mascara)and also a 24/7 lip liner fromUrban Decay, I will be on thehunt for a new bronzer though!Might try out MAC's when the 'tothe beach' collection comes out.

    Monika from Rocaille Writesh p://rocaille-writes.blogspot.com/

    What makeup and beauty prod-

ucts should be a must-havein summer?

Althoug I'm porcelain paleand like my skintone, Ithink a sunkissed look is al-ways in for summer. For theface, I recommend productsmentioned in the next ques-tion. Then, for a no-fuss,fresh eye look, I sweep ashimmery golden shade onthe lid (try Sleek Stormpale e, MAC Patina or AllThat Gli ers or Inglot, which has a vast range of beautiful colors!) and linethe upper lashline with adarker brown such asAnnabelle So Foxy or MACEmbark. Then add mascara(for those hot, humid daysI'd go for Covergirl Lash- blast Volume waterproof),some blusher (BenetCORALista or NYX Peach)and a brighter, warmershade of lipstick (RimmelMoisture Renew in SoftCoral or MAC Jest) or gloss(Revlon Coral Reef or PinkPop).

What are your favourite bronzers and self-tanners?

I think for summer mostgals' aim is a bronzed, glowy skin, which is stillnicely hydrated and pro-tected from UV rays. I'll bechecking out Jergens Natu-ral Glow oil-free face self-tanner with SPF 20 for that

purpose, and then all youneed is just a touch of bronzer through the cheeks;I'm really loving my Benet

Hoola, but also I'm verytempted to try The BodyShop ma e bronzer, which

is a bit warmer shade. For the body, I enjoy usingDove gradual tanners, espe-cially the SPF 15 version. What is on your wishlistfrom summer 2010 makeupcollections?

As mentioned above, I haveto get my hands on RevlonSummer 2010 new lip glossshades. I'm also lemmingMAC Viva Glam Cyndi (Iknow it's not from a sum-mer collection, but a greatsummer shade I reckon!)and loved the look of thosenew Clarins Crystal lippies, especially in the shadeSheer Red. I'm all about thelips I guess!

    Vesna from BeautyAddicth p://www.beautyaddict.net/

What makeup and beautyproducts should be a must-have in summer?

YSL Summer Collection andEstee Lauder Bronze God-dess Collection!

What are your favourite bronzers and self-tanners?

    I don't use such products .

What is on your wishlistfrom summer 2010 makeupcollections?

Huh, there are so manyproducts I would love to

have from Summer Collections!EL Bronze Goddess Body Oil,YSL Solaris Lip Glosses and Nail

Polishes and that's it! I'm trying to be modest.

    Charlo e from Lipglossip-ingh p://www.lipglossiping.com/

What makeup and beauty prod-ucts should be a must-have insummer?

Chunky coloured eyeliners. They're a fantastic way to create a

bright, summery look withoutgoing overboard. For a perfectash of colour, go for a chunkypencil to stop the line looking tooprecise and don't forgetto smudge!

What are your favourite bronzersand self-tanners?

As someone that burns ratherthan tans, whilst remaining per-petually pale pink... I like Xen TanTransform Luxe for a naturalgolden glow. The only bronzerI've ever had any luck with is anIllamasqua Blush that goes by thename Rumour - if you're pale andscared of powder bronzers...check it out!

What is on your wishlist fromsummer 2010 makeup collec-tions?

Three brands that are ge ing mehot under the collar this sum-mer...

Urban Decay are bringing out arather fab looking makeup se ingspray called All Nighter that I'm

itching to try! NARS are releasing3 rather fantastic looking multipletint sticks and there's a particu-

larly pre y pink Pure Shine com-ing out in the YSL SolarisCollection that has my name on it!

    Gio from Beautiful withBrainsh p://beautifulwithbrains.com/

What makeup and beauty prod-ucts should be a must-have in

    summer?

A broad spectrum sunscreen isdenitely a must in the summerto protect your skin from theharmful sun rays. (Although youshould wear one all year round!).Also, some bright and colourfuleyeshadow or lip gloss shades toadd a touch of fun to your look

and a tinted moisturizer insteadof foundation for a lighter cover-age that will even out your skin-tone without looking greasy orsliding off your face!

What are your favourite bronzersand self-tanners?

Well, I dont really use self-tan-ners. I have very pale skin and Improud of it, and Ive never reallyliked the tanned look, it looks sounnatural! You dont have to betanned to look good, every natu-ral skin color is gorgeous. As for bronzers, Im still looking for agood one that doesnt look too or-ange on my pale skin, but so farthe one I like the most is MACBronzing Powder in Golden.

    20/3220 SUMMER/2010

What is on your wishlist fromsummer 2010 makeup collec-tions?

Mmm, Im not sure yet but I havemy eye on the Nars Cream Duoeyeshadow in Burn It Blue, those

blues and turquoise are gorgeous!I also love the new nail polishesfrom Illamasqua.

    Jen from Mizz Worthyh p://www.mizzworthy.com/

What makeup and beauty prod-ucts should be a must-have insummer?

Without a shadow of a doubt, SPFis a complete and u er must havefor the summer. I still feel likepeople don't realise sometimeshow damaging the sun can be,even in the UK. Even if you don'tfeel overly concerned about therisk of skin cancer, the sun is dry-ing and aging - If you want a tan, getn one from a bo le! I am per-sonally so militant about apply-ing SPF, that I'll usually come

back from a holiday abroad justas pale as I was when I left, whichis a source of great amusement tofriends and family. As much as Iinsist on SPF though I do despisethat caked greasy feeling of manyhigh SPF creams and lotions - I'ma big fan of the Garnier Ambre So-laire Clear Protect sprays andtheir light milks. For facial sunprotection, biotherm and cliniqueoffer some decent options too.

I also nd I need to switch up myskincare routine for somethinglighter and less oily, but whichstill gives the skin moisture - Ind using a decent serum such as

Biotherm Source Therapie, orNumber 7 Protect and Perfect (thela er is less hydrating though)

underneath a facial sunscreenfeels more comfortable than aheavier moisturizer. I make up forit at night by using a decent mois-turizer though!Another option for those blessedwith good skin, is to use a tintedmoisturizer which gives a hint ofcoverage as well as moisture. Ipersonally love the LauraMercier, and I use the oil free ver-sion, which doesn't feel to greasyin the summer weather. I like toset with a li le powder - and I in-evitably need a li le top up everyfew hours to keep thinks lookinggood. Try Illamasqua for pressedpowder, and I also like ELFs HDpowder for a budget option.

Other than that, in general I liketo keep makeup fairly light on hotdays - it inevitably feels uncom-fortable in hot weather to bewearing layers of various eyeshadows, etc, so I stick to mascaraand a li le lipstick and blusher. Ido enjoy wearing more dramaticlooks at night though - bronzysmoky eyes are a particularfavourite.

What are your favourite bronzersand self-tanners?

I have to admit, I'm not the great-est fan of self tanning and bronzer- I prefer to play up the fact that Ihave pale skin with a good high-lighter and a li le contouring. However, I can be a ckle crea-

ture and do occasionally dabblewith bronzer - I use Illamasqua's bronzing duo in "Glint" and"Writhe", which is more golden

based and never leaves melooking orange. I'm keen totry the Chanel Soleil Tan de

Chanel, which I have heardmany great things about.Nars do some great bronz-ers for people with mediumskintones too - Laguna is aclassic, but I sometimes ndit a li le overpowering onmy pale skin.

As for self tanning, I rarelydo it - and when I do, I usu-ally use a gradual tanninglotion, which cuts down onthe mess and the smell, andalso looks a lot more naturalon me.

What is on you wishlistfrom summer 2010 makeupcollections?

At the moment, I am lovingwearing brighter lips andcheeks with minimal eyes -I'm all about the lipsticks! Iam in love with the lipsticksand glosses from the ChanelSummer 2010 collection -perfect pinks and coralswhich are not unwearable. Iwas also very pleased topick up Givenchy's "IslandHibiscus" limited editionlipstick which is a gorgeousfuchsia pink, and will dou- ble up as a blush creme witha light hand. Also, althoughnot strictly summer collec-tions, there are several beautiful shades in theGuerlain Rouge G lipstick

range, and the eye winc-ingly expensive Tom Fordprivate blend lipsticks comein some very tempting

shades... At 35 a popthough, they are a real in-vestment!

It's difficult to think aboutsummer makeup for mewithout mentioning theEstee Lauder Bronze God-dess range, which has some

beautiful bronzers, eyecolours and lip glosses. Fora more subtle touch ofcolour, some people mightlike the new LE mascaracoming out from YSL,which is a teal blue colour.

From the high street, it'salso well worth taking alook at the Revlon range forsome beautiful and well for-mulated lipglosses, as wellas a pre y LE summer eyepale e. If you can get to asuperdrug, the Sleek rangeis also well worth a look -their new Circus pale e,contains a range of brightshades which can be usedfor either full on drama, oras bright eyeliners. Also tryRimmel and Barry M fordramatic lip colours. If youare more into the naturallook, then try the lip tonedshades from the new Unerange too.

    Jacqueline from A Bril-liant Brune eh p://www.abrilliantbrune e.com/

What makeup and beautyproducts should be a must-have in summer?

I'm really into bronzersright now. I've been steering

clear of my blushes and just stick-ing with the bronzed look andadding a bit of a shimmer to my

cheekbones for a highlight. I re-ally want to get my hands onSmashbox's new Halo Bronzer.I've tried it a few times and it's

    just lovely.

What are your favourite bronzersand self-tanners?

Aside from lemming for theSmashbox Halo Bronzer, I actu-ally love e.l.f.'s Studio Bronzersand their Studio ContouringBlush and Bronzing Powder. They are some amazingly pig-mented products for being so affordable. Bare Escentuals FauxTan is a wonderful self-tannerthat I often use on my legs. Thecoloring is perfect and it's long-lasting.

What is on your wishlist fromsummer 2010 makeup collec-tions?

A denite must on my wishlist isLorac's Li le Black Pale e. Theeyeshadows are the most smooth,

beautifully bronzed colors; fa-vorites of mine for the summermonths. I love a smokey bronzeeye on a hot summer day. And ofcourse, the Smashbox HaloBronzer!

    B r i t i s h B e a u t y B l o g g e rh p://www.britishbeautyblogger.com/

What makeup and beauty prod-ucts should be a must-have insummer?

Well, I notice that - probably be-cause of SPF - people always look

more 'shiny' in summer; so I'd sayit would be a very, very sheerpowder just to knock off that sur-

face gleam. I love a peachy blushin summer such as Metier LeBeaute's dupe of Orgasm, calledEcho, that is just so much be er,and of course, keeping a coolingspri in the fridge such as Avenewater won't make you more beautiful but will make you feel awhole lot less sticky and hot! Ialso use a sun cream for face and body from Institut Esthedermthat doesn't use traditional SPFs but encourages melanin produc-tion and helps the skin to protectitself...I really like it a lot and havenever burned with it.

What are your favourite bronzersand self-tanners?

I very rarely use a bronzer..they'realways full of shimmer and I'mnot a shimmer fan for cheeks orface, and self tan wise, I like Fa-mous Dave and Vita Liberata.

What is on your wishlist fromsummer 2010 makeup collec-tions?

Anything from the Guerlain col-lection, and I am determined tomaster their kohl this year!

    Grace from LondonMakeup Girlh p://www.londonmakeupgirl.com/

What makeup and beautyproducts should be a must-have in summer?

Most importantly sun-screen! I always use an spf30 from May to September.I also like a vitamin C serumunderneath it to add antiox-idant protection. I'm lovingpale skin with a pop ofcolour on the lips andcheeks at the moment, so a

bright lip gloss or lipstickand a toning cream/gel

    blusher.

What are your favourite bronzers and self-tanners?

I don't self-tan ever on myface or most of my body - I

just don't like the way itlooks on me. If I'm going

barelegged I do take theglare off my legs with StTropez light Everyday

gradual tanner. For bronzer,I like Edward Bess Day-dream powder bronzer, andI've recently discovered andlike Hourglass Illume creamto powder bronzer and

    blush duo.

What is on your wishlistfrom summer 2010 makeup

I'm most excited by theGiorgio Armani BlushingFabric blushes and Tokyo

Coral lipsticks. I loved Linda Can-tello's own make up line, so I'mlooking forward to her summer

products for Armani. The newtransparent Multiple Tints fromNARS are very nice too - I'mtempted by bright red BeverlyHills.

Alex, junior brand managerof Illamasqua from Illa-masqua Blogh p://illamasqua.blogspot.com/

What makeup and beauty prod-ucts should be a must-havein summer?

I cannot live with out IllamasquaBronzing Duo - it has two differ-ent colours that can either be

blended together, or used sepa-rately to highlight and contour.

Glint is this beautiful slightlypearlescent champagne colourand Burnish is a deeper bronze. Ihave recently purchased the Illa-masqua Kabuki Brush and it's oneof those products that you won-dered how you functioned without it!

I also love to shift my focus from

eyes [my winter staple] to the lipsin Summer; the bolder gloss the be er. Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss in Petulant is a ravishingpink and Indulge is a barbie pink.I also have to switch to a lighterfoundation so the new reformu-lated Light Liquid Foundationsare excellent. For skincare, I am never withoutEmma Hardie products. They are

beautiful, smell divine and areluxurious to use. I always haveten minutes in the morning formy skincare ritual. Why rush it

when you have the whole dayahead of you for your make-up tohold up under?

Also, I have recently discoveredFredric Fekkai hair products - thegloss spray is lovely.

What are your favourite bronzersand self-tanners?

Xen Tan is fantastic - I have neverfound a be er, quicker, easier touse product than this. Effortlesstanning for the working woman;it's what I have always dreamt of!I smother myself in Illamasqua Il-lumine Oil in Pulse on a night out- it's be er than other body shim-mer oils than I have used becauseit has more interest; a slight glim-mer of pink, blue, bronze, goldand pewter pigments are very eyecatching.

What is on your wishlistfrom summer 2010 makeup col-lections?

Well, I own most of the SS10 BodyElectrics and we are currentlyworking on our AW10 collectionso I am currently lusting aftermost of that! There is this one lipgloss that blew my mind...but Iprobably shouldn't mention toomuch on that ;-)

Otherwise, you can't go wrongwith a Chanel nail varnish - I havehunted high and low for Partic-uliere. I have a strong interest invisual campaigns- which makesworking for Illamasqua great! -

and love looking at all the majorfashion and beauty houses cam-paigns as they come out.

What makeup and beauty prod-ucts should be a must-have insummer?High SPF is a must. Maybesome oil-control product. Forcolor issues I think it's a typething. I love golden shimmer ondark toned girls. On more fairtans something peachy is nice. However, less is more just for

the comfort. Bright lips is atrend I really like.

What are your favourite bronz-ers and self-tanners?

I don't use any bronzing prod-ucts. I don't feel comfortablewith another layer of powderand I am afraid it might lookcakey or streaky through thehot day. I hate the scent of selftanners and the whole proce-dure is too messy for me.

What is on your wishlist fromsummer 2010 makeup collec-tions?

I am into lipglosses. I am look-ing forward for MACs Super-glasses and the new gloss range

by DIOR. Oh, and the new Daz-zle Lipsticks by MAC as well.

    Kitiya from Mischo Beautyh p://www.mischobeauty.com/

What makeup and beauty prod-ucts should be a must-have insummer?

A complete/consistent skincareregimen is a must, in my opin-ion, not only for the summer,

but year-round! But what sum-mer might mean for your regi-men is switching to lighter

weight creams and moisturiz-ers, due to the change in tem-perature. It might also meanusing moisturizers with higherSPF's. And if you're spendingtime outdoors and at the

beaches, you'll denitely wantto make sure you're using a

broad spectrum sunscreen withUVA/UVB protection. Sundamage is the major externalcause of aging.

What are your favourite bronz-ers and self-tanners?

My absolute favorite is Lan-come's Flash Bronzer. It looksnatural on, gives you a bronzyglow and has an amazing scent!

What is on your wishlist fromsummer 2010 makeup collec-tions?

My wish list includes:Givenchy, CHANEL & Nars!

    Marina from Makeup4Allh p://www.makeup4all.com/

What makeup and beauty prod-ucts should be a must-have insummer?

SPF creams and after sun lo-tions, sun care products forhair, sun glasses, a good bronzer and a highlighter arepriorities for my summer beauty look. These are closely

followed by waterproof mas-cara and cream eye shadowsand I treat myself to a vibrantnail polish and a bright luxurylipstick!

What are your favourite bronz-ers and self-tanners?

I love Hoola from Benet and Ind that Dove self tanner is asgood as any luxury product.
