PHASE

• Lessons engage students and recreate the learning environment so they are more flexible to address a variety of learning giving student voice and choice.

• Teacher is understanding how each student learns best and making instructional decisions based on this.

• Students may work independently, in small groups, or in a teacher-directed group.

• Co-designing instructional strategies and assessments to meet individual learning goals.

• Student begins to understand how they learn best.

• Classrooms start to transition to a competency based system where students demonstrate mastery of learning.
