HOW TO INSTALL AND UTILIZE FILEZILLA IN CANAIMA 3.0

“This tutorial was created to help facilitate the comprension of it's users on how to install and utilize Filezilla in Canaima 3.0”

Step 1: Go to the tool bar at the top of your desktop. Select “Sistema”, then “Administracion” follow by Gestor de Paquetes Synatic.

Step 2: In order to have the previlege of using “Gestor de paquetes synaptic”, you have to enter the adminstrator's password.

Step 3: Upon entering “Gestor de paquetes”, search for Filezilla in the search area of the tool bar.

Step 4: Upon finding filezilla, right click on it and select“Marcar para instalar”.

Step 5: Right-click the button “Marcar” to make the additional changes required.

Step 6: Select “Aplicar” from the tool bar.

Step 7: Right-click the button “Aplicar” from the pop-up box.

Step 8: Wait for the files of Filezilla to download.

Step 9: Go to the tool bar that is located at the top of your desktop, select “ Aplicaciones”, followed by 'Internet” and and then “Filezilla”

Step 10: Select “Aceptar” from the pop-up window to be able to see the message of the pop-up windowin the help menu.

Step 11: After downloading filezilla, if you don't have access to an e-mail account then you should create one (preferibly from G-mail.com).However, if you have access to an e-mail account, use your web navigator of choice to visit “000webhost.com”. On the welcome page of this 000webhost, select the “Sign Up” option.

Step 17 : Enter the required data in the regristration form.

Step 18: After entering the datas that are requiered, select “Create My Account”.

The following web page should appear. It's waiting on your e-mail confirmation.

Step 19: Go your e-mail account to confirm your registration by clicking on a link that appears like the following.

Step 20: The link will take you to a web page that appears like the following. This web page will command you to check your e-mail account to find a registration link.

Step 21: In your e-mail account you will find the link to confirm your registration. You should left-click on it.

Step 23: The previous link takes you to a web page that contains some information about your account and an option to enter CPanel.

The next webpage should appear like the following. It contains all the options to modify your account and newly registed domain.It also contains all the information on your account that you will need to

know.

Step 24: Create your html document.

Step 25: Validate your html document by using the markup validation service of validator.w3.org.

The next web page should appear like the following if your document was sucessfully checked as HTML5!

Step 26: At the top of Filezilla where the tool bar is located, select “Gestor de servidor”.

Step 27: The pop-up window should appear like the following. In this window, you can create a new site or a new folder.

Step 28: After you have given a name to your new site, enter the requiered data from your domain account.

Step 29: After selecting “Conectar”, you will return to the main window of Filezilla. In this window you should select the folder “public_html”.

Step 30: Copy your html document to the folder “public_html”.

Step 31: Return to your domain account and select the link to enter your domain.

Step 32: Right-Click the link that follows “Index of/”

The folloing page after selecting the link from the previous pages should be your website
