For over 100 years Farrell-Calhoun has been making quality paints to satisfy the needs of our customers. Throughout the years, paint technology has made significant advances and there have been many changes in the coatings we manufacture.

It’s hard to stay in business for over 100 years without staying on top of the latest technology in any field and at Farrell-Calhoun we strive to be at the forefront of advances in the coatings industry. Our research lab is one of the largest in the industry relative to the size of our company and that has allowed us to formulate some very unique and innovative products.

With the ever growing emphasis towards Green products, Farrell-Calhoun is proud to offer our customers our “Green Leaf” designated products, which meet or exceed the criteria for coatings used in LEED v3 certified buildings as determined by the U. S. Green Building

Council. Farrell-Calhoun’s Green Leaf products have fewer VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) than traditional paints thereby improving indoor air quality and reducing harmful emissions.

Many of these next generation paints are made with a unique ambient cure resin system that gives the coating superior performance when compared with traditional non-green products. Superior blocking resistance, adhesion, durability, washability, color and gloss retention as well as outstanding touch-up are hallmarks of the Green Leaf certified products. These properties add to the sustainability of the coating by decreasing the need for frequent repainting and reducing future emissions and solid waste.

Speaking of solid waste, for decades Farrell-Calhoun’s manufacturing facility has been engineered so that we do not generate any hazardous waste. We reuse everything we can. From the dust collected in our dust collectors, to the wash water and thinners used to clean our tanks — we turn them all into usable solutions as well as reworking all of our mis-tinted paints. We have also implemented new processes in our manufacturing facility to become more energy efficient and reduce greenhouse gases. We stand firm in our commitment to keeping this world healthy for future generations.

1040/1041 Zone Marking Paints: Interior/Exterior quick drying zone marking paints that are formulated to give maximum footage and wear resistance. These coatings have excellent hiding and produce a hard, durable film that is very resistant to water and abrasion. These products are easy to apply and designed for painting centerlines and edge lines on properly prepared asphalt, concrete, curbs and parking lots.

2300 Elastomeric Wall Coating: A premium 100% Acrylic Elastomeric coating designed to provide a long lasting, flexible, waterproof coating on masonry surfaces. Because #2300 features superior flexibility, elonga-tion, and recovery properties, it will bridge hair-line cracks in masonry surfaces caused by expansion and contraction. This high solids product also offers outstanding protection against water penetration, easily repelling wind driven rain. 7500 Line Porch & Patio Satin Enamel: Premium 100% acrylic-urethane, latex floor enamel with next generation cross-linking technology. This coating provides exceptional adhesion and durability for interior and exterior floors. This coating is low odor, low voc and designed for dimensionally stable wood and concrete floors.

1500 / Waterborne Penetrating Wiping Stains: Premium pigmented oil modified, alkyd, waterborne dispersion wiping stains formulated to develop the natural beauty of both hard and soft woods without obscuring grain patterns and with minimal grain raising. The quick drying, penetrating action allows complete staining and finish coating of wood surfaces in a single day. These stains are designed to be coated with a protective coat of polyurethane finish when thoroughly dry.

1160 Line / Interior/Exterior Waterborne Acrylic-Polyurethane Spar Varnish: Premium waterborne polyurethane varnishes that are formulated to have superior UV-A and UV-B absorption for exterior or interior wood. These clear, low odor varnishes provide hard, durable finishes that feature excellent abrasion resistance and protection against water, alcohol and most household chemicals. These waterborne varnishes dry quickly, allowing multiple coats to be applied in the same day.

1190 Line / Interior Waterborne Acrylic-Polyurethane Varnish: Premium waterborne polyurethane varnishes that provide a clear coating which resists yellowing and are formulated to produce a hard, durable finish on interior wood. These varnishes are low odor and feature excellent abrasion resistance and protection against water, alcohol, and most household chemicals. These waterborne varnishes dry quickly allowing multiple coats to be applied in the same day.

235 Multi-Purpose Primer: 100% Acrylic primer that features high solids, excellent hiding, flexibility and mildew resistance. #235 also has excellent adhesion properties, alkali resistance, and sealing properties. This multi-purpose primer is formulated with a rust inhibitor designed to stop flash rusting on ferrous metal surfaces and minimize rust on nail heads. This is the product of choice for priming exterior masonry and non-bleeding woods. This product can also be used inside as a primer for mildew prone areas.

380 Interior Wall Primer: Premium quality interior wall primer that features much higher solids than traditional PVA primers. #380 has exceptional sealing properties and is recommended on new interior wallboard, masonry and plaster surfaces. By using this product, the finish coat will have a more uniform sheen and improved coverage (more square foot per gallon).

470A Acrylic Block Filler: High solids Interior/Exterior block filler that is formulated with a 100% Acrylic resin system. The use of this resin system gives #470A excellent alkali resistance, water resistance and adhesion. This product has exceptional filling and sealing properties and is recommended for interior and exterior concrete block.

697 Stain-Blocking/Bonding Primer: 100% Acrylic Interior/Exterior primer that offers excellent stain blocking, alkali resistance and adhesion. As our most alkali resistant latex primer, it is our best primer for new masonry surfaces. Due to the excellent adhesion and the quick curing properties , this is the primer of choice for interior galvanized and aluminum metals.

699 Interior Enamel Undercoater: 100% Acrylic undercoater that offers exceptional sealing and sanding properties, which makes it the product of choice for interior non-bleeding woods. This high solids, quick drying product has unsurpassed adhesion in a latex coating and is recommended for priming masonry, wallboard and non-bleeding wood.

5-56 Metal Primer/Finish: 100% Acrylic Interior/Exterior primer that is formulated with a unique rustinhibiting resin system and rust inhibiting pigments to block rust on ferrous metal surfaces. This high hiding productalso features excellent dirt, mildew, crack & blister resistance. Since #5-56 has a low sheen finish which will dry fall,it is an ideal product for large exterior buildings where application problems can be an issue. This high solidsprimer/finish coat is recommended for use on properly prepared ferrous metal, galvanized or aluminum surfaces.

300 Flat Wall Paint: Our finest quality flat wall paint. This premium product features high solids, excellent hiding, sealing, stain-resistance and unbelievable touch-up. This self-priming product is recommended for prop-erly prepared interior walls and ceilings of plaster, wallboard and masonry surfaces.

370 Eggshell Finish: Premium eggshell latex wall paint that combines the washability of higher sheen paints with the soft, pleasing look of a lower sheen paint. The 370 Line features high solids, fantastic touch-up and excel-lent hiding. This self-priming product is recommended for interior walls of plaster, wallboard and masonry surfaces.

600 Semi-Gloss Enamel: Next generation 100% Acrylic enamel that features a unique crosslinking resin that makes it ideal for use on hard service areas such as wood trim, kitchens, bathrooms and cabinets. The 600 Line combines the stain and scrub resistance of an alkyd enamel, with the ease of application, water clean-up and non- yellowing properties of a latex coating. Because of the crosslinking resin, this product has superior adhesion and blocking resistance, as well as outstanding durability, washability, and flow & leveling. Recommended for interior wood, masonry, plaster, wallboard, and primed metal.

670 Satin Enamel: Premium quality satin enamel that offers excellent washability in a lower sheen paint. The 670 Line also features excellent hiding, burnish resistance, flow & leveling, and outstanding touch-up. Recommended for interior walls and trim of wood, masonry, plaster, wallboard, and primed metal surfaces.

1200WB Waterborne Epoxy: Premium quality two-package epoxy formulated with a waterborne 100% Acrylic resin system that gives the coating excellent adhesion, good chemical resistance, and outstanding dura-bility. #1200WB dries to a hard, smooth film and is designed for interior applications that require an extremely durable, washable finish such as in schools and hospitals. Recommended for properly prepared interior wallboard, primed metal, masonry, or wood surfaces.

3000 High Performance Gloss Enamel: A truly unique premium quality 100% Acrylic non-yellowing high gloss enamel that features a high density crosslinking polymer. Because of this resin technology, #3000 offers unbelievable adhesion and block resistance in a latex enamel. Recommended for properly prepared interior wood, masonry, plaster, wallboard and primed metal surfaces. Ideal for use on hard service areas such as wood trim, cabinets, bathrooms and kitchens. #3000 may also be used on properly prepared exterior wood trim, masonry, and metal surfaces.

3300 High Performance Evergreen Semi-Gloss Enamel: A self crosslinking 100% Acrylic enamel that features one of the highest crosslinked polymer densities of any latex product on the market. Combined with anti-microbial properties, this hard, abrasion resistant system is ideal for institutional and commercial settings where exceptional stain removal and scrub resistance are required. #3300 is ideal for wood trim, kitchens, bathrooms, and cabinets. Because of the crosslinking resin, this product has superior adhesion and blocking resistance. Recommended for interior wood, masonry, plaster, wallboard, and primed metal. #3300 may also be used on properly prepared exterior wood trim, masonry, and metal surfaces. #3300 is ultra low VOC* .

3900 Line Evergreen Acrylic Interior Latex Eggshell Enamel: Super premium, very low odor, acrylic latex eggshell enamel designed for use on interior surfaces where a soft, pleasing, yet washable, cleanable, anti-microbial coating is desired. This coating is our most stain and scuff resistant eggshell finish. The best features of this product are its outstanding touch-up, low odor, and ultra low VOC *.

5600 Line Waterborne Acrylic-Alkyd Interior Semi-Gloss Enamel: Premium, next generation, waterborne acrylic-alkyd, formulated for interior walls and trim where a finish of extra durability and washability is needed. This product features cross-linking technology, is easy to apply and flows and levels like an oil based coat-ing. This product is low odor, low voc and produces minimal yellowing

992 Latex Satin Dry Fall: This unique high hiding dry fall coating is formulated with a rust inhibitive resin system that helps prevent flash rusting on metal surfaces. #992 will reduce lighting requirements and is ideal for commercial and industrial areas where dry overspray characteristics are required. Recommended for interior ferrous or galvanized metal, aluminum, wood or masonry surfaces and is also suitable for structural steel, piping, or beams.

200 Flat Finish: 100% Acrylic high solids coating formulated to have excellent flexibility and resistance to cracking and blistering. The 200 Line also features excellent color and gloss retention, outstanding adhesion and excellent mildew resistance. Recommended for wood, hardboard, masonry, primed ferrous or galvanized metals as well as aluminum siding.

2200 Satin Finish: 100% Acrylic latex enamel that has outstanding flexibility, adhesion, and color and gloss retention. This high solids, high hiding product also features excellent resistance to blocking, mildew, dirt pick-up, cracking and blistering. Recommended for wood, hardboard, masonry, aluminum siding and primed ferrous or galvanized metal. This product can also be used indoors for areas that are prone to mildew or require superior burnish and stain resistance.

2400 Gloss Finish: 100% Acrylic latex enamel formulated with a unique crosslinking resin technology that provides exceptional flexibility, adhesion, and color and gloss retention. This high solids, high hiding product also features excellent resistance to blocking, mildew, dirt pick-up, cracking and blistering. Recommended for wood, hardboard, masonry, aluminum siding, and primed ferrous or galvanized metal.

8000 Direct To Metal Enamel: 100% Acrylic DTM formulated with a unique crosslinking resin with built-in rust inhibiting capabilities so that it may be applied directly to properly prepared galvanized, aluminum, or ferrous metal surfaces. This high hiding product also offers excellent adhesion, durability, color and gloss retention and blocking resistance. Recommended for properly primed interior/exterior wood, metal and masonry surfaces.
