West Hennepin Public Safety Officer

On April 18, 2016, West Hennepin Public Safety welcomed their newest member to the police force, Aaron Geddes. Director Kroells said “Officer Aaron Geddes was hired after an extensive job search with a multitude of qualified candi-dates. Officer Geddes came out on top with his experi-ence as a sheriff’s deputy in Dunn County North Dakota”.

While working as a deputy sheriff at Dunn County, Officer Geddes served as an officer for three years, was promoted to a Patrol Corporal, field training officer, SWAT officer and joined the local ambulance service becoming an Emergen-cy Medical Technician. Officer Geddes grew up in Plym-outh Minnesota and earned his bachelor’s arts degree in Criminal Justice from St. Cloud State University. West

Hennepin Public Safety officially welcomes Aaron Geddes as our newest Police Officer for the Patrol Division.

A Big THANK YOU to all Maple Plain & Loretto Businesses and Residents who supported our Veterans for National Poppy Day! Two donation events occurred recently. The local American Legion Auxiliary Women's group (which supports the local American Legion Post #514) recently went door to door to businesses in both Maple Plain and Loretto seeking donations for National Business Poppy Day. Poppies are made by disa-bled Veterans and 100% of the funds collected are given to the Veterans to help support them in a variety of ways. It's so wonderful to see the local businesses supporting our Veterans - thank you so much for the donations, much appreciated! And another thank you to the public who also dug deep into their pockets for National Poppy Day! Held on May 20th, local businesses such as MPFC, OttenBrothers and Rudy Luther Toyota allowed the Ladies Auxiliary along with members of the Legion to stand in their locations and collect donations from local citizens who were also eager to show their support of our Veterans. Without these wonderful Veterans we wouldn't be here today with the freedom to reach in our pockets and show our support!
