revival services in January with Evangelist Tim Todd, to the faith promises made for the Potranco campus, to the Marriage Conference weekend in February, I believe God is preparing us for even greater things. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2 that eye hath not seen nor ear has heard neither has entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for them that love Him, but God has revealed them unto us by His Spirit. Let us continue to dare to believe God for the incredible things He has in store. Likewise, there is no substitute to what God wants to do through you. Look for the opportunities that God has for you. One immediate opportunity we all have is to invite someone to the Easter Presentation “Believe” on Friday, March 25th at 7 PM, and Sunday, March 27th at 9 & 11 AM. Remember there are those God has placed around you who are waiting to be invited. It could be a neighbor, family member, or a co-worker. Ask God for an opportunity and you will be amazed at the open doors God has for you. I am blessed and honored to be your pastor. Life Church is an awesome church, and I am glad to be a part of it. “CHRIST-THE PERFECT SUBSTITUTE”

We are living in a day of substitutes. Many of the foods and drinks we use have been replaced by something else. There are substitutes for sugar, salt substitutes, substitutes for metals and wood. There is now even a substitute for gasoline which has made someone very wealthy. As you think about substitutes, the greatest substitute that ever lived was Jesus Christ. He did not have to be our substitute, and God did not force Him. Jesus said, “I lay down my life that I might take it up again”. It was his great love for mankind that compelled Him to lay down His life. We were sentenced to death and our names were on the list of the condemned, but Jesus became our substitute. He took our place on the cross. It was you and I who should have died for our own sins, but Jesus was the only one who could take our place. Because of Christ’s death and His glorious resurrection, we have purpose and meaning in life. No longer are we destined to be aimless. However, on that first Easter morning, Christ was no longer dead, but He rose again. It is Jesus that imparts into our lives resurrection power, therefore, we are able to live a life of victory over sin. As Easter approaches, let us celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let’s praise Him for the life He has given us. Speaking of substitutes, there is no substitute for the moving of God in our church. There is a sense of excitement and expectancy as we dare to believe God. We have seen God do tremendous things throughout this year. From the

when we find ourselves faced by

destruction that comes from poor

choices. In this message, Pastor will

highlight from the life of Jonah the

necessity of repentance, saying

“Yes” to God’s will, and the pitfalls of following your will

over God’s will. Sooner or later God is going to have His

way. Even in the midst of your worst choices, God’s grace

intervenes in you and “God stopped it”.

encubriéndolo. Pues si, amados Dios quiere que nosotros

hagamos lo posible y quitemos la piedra para que Dios haga

LO IMPOSIBLE de RESUCITAR lo que pareció morirse!..

a) El Mesías había sido predicho desde el comienzo del mundo.

Él era la simiente de la mujer que herrería la cabeza de la

serpiente (Gen.3:15) Él era la simiente prometida a Abraham y

a sus herederos (Gen. 12:1-4)

b) El Profeta Isaías profetizo Si existe un libro en la Biblia,

explícitamente en el Antiguo Testamento que además de los

Evangelios, esté dedicado al Mesías y a su Salvación, no solo

para el pueblo de Israel sino para todas las naciones, y que

además revele las profecías sobre el Mesías, ese es sin duda el

libro del profeta Isaías. El primero de los profetas mayores,

respetado y tenido en cuenta por los escribas Hebreos y por los

rabinos Judíos así como por la Iglesia en general.

Un buen ejemplo de ello es el siguiente texto:

…Porque un niño nos es nacido, hijo nos es dado, y el

principado sobre su hombro; y se llamará su nombre,

Admirable, Consejero, Dios Fuerte, Padre Eterno, Príncipe de

Paz; lo dilatado de su imperio y la paz no tendrán límite, sobre

el trono de David y sobre su reino. Isaías 9:6.

c) El Mesías salvaría a los creyentes de sus enemigos y de todos los

que le aborrecían. Hombres carnales (judíos, los de mentalidad

carnal y mundana) piensan en la salvación en términos de

liberación material y física. La Salvación con Dios significa

salvación espiritual y eterna, una liberación y salvación que no

tendrá fin. Está interesado en librar a los hombres de los enemigos

que combaten de manera interminable contra el espíritu y

esclavizan a los hombres, tanto ahora como eternamente; esos

enemigos son :

Water Baptism Sunday, March 13th, following the evening service

Following the evening service on Sunday, March 13th

you will have the opportunity to be baptized in water. If

you have not followed the Lord in water baptism, we

encourage you to do so. A Water Baptism class will be

held at 5pm before the evening service. Please stop by

the Information Center to sign up.

The Life Church Garage

Clean-up day will be held on

Saturday, March 5th. Come for

an hour or the entire time, and bring the family too! We

will be cleaning and organizing the church garage. There

will be opportunities for everyone to serve no matter the

skill set and age level. The clean up starts at 10:00 a.m.

and lunch will be provided. See you there!

Nursing Home Ministry Fridays at 11:00 am at Lakeside Inn

(Located on Lakeside Parkway off of SW

God is moving through Life Church’s Nursing Home

Ministry. Volunteers meet every Friday and minister in

music and the Word of God to the residents of the

Lakeside Inn Nursing Home. We are Jesus’ hands

extended by befriending, loving and praying for their

needs. We want everyone to have the opportunity to

receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior before their

eternity begins. We are seeing lives changed for

LORD’S PRAYERLORD’S PRAYER

Prayer is such a big part of being a Christian. It’s one of

the coolest things ever. Prayer is when we get to talk to

God, and He gets to talk to us. It’s a vital part of our

spiritual lives.

For a lot of kids, prayer seems like such a hard thing to

do. Many kids think there is no way they can pray to

God. They don’t think they know how. They have seen

some adults pray and they think they have to do it EX-

ACTLY like those adults do.

Jesus’ disciples once asked Him, “Lord, teach us to

pray.” So, Jesus taught them a sample prayer to use as a

guide to help them know HOW to pray. We call it “The

Lord’s Prayer.” In this series, the children will be

learning how to pray. It’s not “THE ONLY WAY” to

pray, but it’s a sample prayer that Jesus gave to the

disciples that children can follow.
