–Ray Bradbury
Friends of the Library Hosts Choc-
olate Lover’s Dream
Friends of the Library held one of their annual
fund raisers, Chocolate Lover’s Dream, on February
11th. Many people came to choose from some amazing
chocolate desserts, fill up a plate, and enjoy eating.
Thank you Friends of the Library for holding this fund
raiser, and thank you, Thermopolis for supporting it so
well!
Photographic Exhibit at the Library
Plan to visit the library to see Wyoming Grasslands,
photographs by Michael P. Berman and William S. Sutton. The
exhibit will be in the library until March 15.
Book Club
Book Club will be meeting on March 16 at 7 PM. The book they
will be reading is The Walking Drum, by Louis L’Amour. This
historical novel is not a western, but is set in the Middle Ages in
Europe and the Middle East.
“In the nonstop tsunami of global information, librarians provide us with floaties and teach us to swim.”
–Linton Weeks
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY HELPS TO
MAKE OUR LIBRARY EVEN BETTER!
Friends of the Library has helped the library again! They have purchased a
new projection screen that will be permanently mounted in the Storytime
room. This will be wonderful for guest speakers, and for Dinner and a Mov-
ie! They have also purchased a sound bar for the library. In the past, we have
borrowed one when we needed it. A new HP laptop was also purchased by
Friends of the Library! It will be used by guest speakers and library staff. We
at the library can’t thank the Friends enough for all their generous support!

Sean Thornton has returned from Amer-

past. Sean's eye is caught by Mary Kate Dan-
aher, a beautiful but poor maiden, and
younger sister of ill-tempered "Red" Will
Danaher. The riotous relationship that forms
between Sean and Mary Kate, punctuated by
Will's pugnacious attempts to keep them
apart, form the main plot, with Sean's past
as the dark undercurrent.

IT’S TIME FOR A BRAIN TEASER
The solution can be found on the last page of the newsletter!
“Here was one place where I could find out who I was and what I
was going to become. And that was the public library.”
— Jerzy Kosinski

information about the library! You can also like us on Facebook!
It started out as a Mine Craft build-
ing challenge—and changed into have fun
building what you’d like to build! The kids
had a great time using their imaginations
and creating something new! Don’t forget to
