    Expressions of Worship:

African Childrens ChoirSunday, April 15, 6:30pm

    Come join the 38th

African Childrens Choir as they perform in our community during their 2011-

2012 US Tour. The Choir will be performing at our church on April 15 at 6:30pm. Come and expe-

rience a performance that shows the beauty, dignity and potenal of each African child! Admis-sion will be free for all ages; a free-will oering will follow the Choirs concert.

The African Childrens Choir melts the hearts of audiences with their charming smiles, beauful

voices and lively African songs and dances. The program features well-loved childrens songs, tra-

dional Spirituals and rhythmic Gospel favorites. Nearly every performance is concluded with a

thunderous standing ovaon! In spite of the tragedy that has marred their young lives, the chil-

dren are radiant with hope, musically gied and always wonderfully entertaining.

The free-will oering will help support the Music for Life Instute. The African Childrens Choir has

been Music for Lifes major internaonal program during its 27-year history. Music for Life Ins-

tute (MFLI) has relief and development programs in seven African countries. MFLI has currently

educated over 52,000 children and hundreds of thousands of lives have been impacted by Music

for Life Instutes internaonal relief and development programs.

Were looking forward to seeing you at this inspiraonal performance by the internaonally ac-claimed, Grammy-nominated African Childrens Choir!

    For the Children,

    Pastor Terrill

From the Desk of Pastor Harold

    Living Life Together

God never intended for us to live life alone. You have heard me several mes over the last

month or so say that we need to live life together. I want to encourage you to do this as

much as possible. First, that you would have a life that is connected to our Lord Jesus that

is real and personal. Secondly, that you are connected to the church in a way that is minis-tering to others. When we are intenonal about touching others, somehow God meets

our relaonal needs. Thirdly, that you will have close relaonships that allow for account-

ability for you and at least one other person regularly. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

    9Two are beer than one,

because they have a good return for their labor:10

If either of them falls down,

one can help the other up.

    But pity anyone who falls

and has no one to help them up.

11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?

    12Though one may be overpowered,

    two can defend themselves.

A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

    Happy February Church Family!

The NorthRidge Youth Group has a record number of Summer Campers this year. These individuals are

the future of NorthRidge Church and this trip is an excellent program that will lead them down Gods

path. Our Church family needs to support them spiritually and nancially. Their rst fundraiser was a

sit-down spaghe dinner and was an awesome success.

Our second event is our annual garage sale. The date for

the sale is Saturday, March 10th. We will be collecng

items from 4pm unl 8pm on Thursday and Friday, March

8th and 9th. There will also be ats of strawberries for

sale. This year, we will be pre-selling the strawberries, so

    look for the signup sheet.

Please connue to pray for our teens and leaders as we

connue to grow closer to Christ.

from the rest of the NorthRidge family. Pastor Whiteman stepped in as MC with his usual playful per-

    sonality. What a fun night!
