Marianne Van Deursen: Marianne Van Deursen has served at Warren County Community College for 23 years, where she currently is the Vice President of Academic Affairs. Reporting directly to the President of the college, serving as the Chief Academic Officer, she is responsible for overseeing the general planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of all functional areas pertaining to academic programs and instructional services, as well as the administration of academic budgets.

Prior to becoming VPAA, Marianne was the Dean of Academics and worked directly with the Vice-President of Academics to support faculty and students in both traditional ground campus and distance education learning environments. She also spent 19 years as the Program Coordinator/Instructor for Medical & Dental Assisting where she was responsible for the administration and oversight of CAAHEP accredited Medical Assisting Programs and the Dental Assisting program. During that time, she taught a variety of courses on ground and online, as needed and was responsible for a faculty, enrolled students, and all clinical externship sites.

Warren County Community College Warren County Community College was established in 1981, began offering degree programs in 1987, was accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) in 1992, and was most recently re-accredited in 2018. They aim to provide lifelong learning opportunities that will enhance individuals’ success, strengthen commitment to the community, and reflect innovation and change.
