In this assignment, I learned how to make my own business card. We had to do this on Microsoft publisher. It was an easy process overall, but I did have some difficulties in inserting the picture, since I’m still new to this and all… Other than that, the whole bulk of making this card was mainly writing, so again it wasn’t that hard.

Assignment 2: Multimedia Essay

During this essay, I was asked to write it in Microsoft waor. Along the way, I learned how multimedia is imnportant in our lives, as it has multiple purposes ranging from applying it to television purposes to medical research. Generally speaking, Multimedia is a field of study that is very helpful to society.

Assignment 3: Photoshop filters

On this particular task, I Had to use Adobe Photoshop CSS. I learned how to apply different types of filters to a photo to give it a different look, which is pretty cool.

Assignment 4: Collage

I learned how to use Adobe Photoshop more effectively this day… well somewhat. I had to apply different pictures to make the collage (just copy, paste, and resize) and this is useful for when I have any upcoming art assignments involving computers.

Assignment 5a: Opacity In Shapes

I learned about opacity today. Using Photoshop, I learned how to change the opacity of a figure, whether I can make it more or less visible, or even invisible!

Assignment 5b: Coloring

Again, I used Photoshop to color in a picture. But learning how to draw luigi was fun. I needed to utilize Magic wand and paint bucket tools to color him. Also, it helped me figure out how I can color in other pictures as well.

Assignment 5c: BW colored tinted

Today I am more knowledgeable on how to edit Black and white pictures. For the most part, all that was needed to do was to apply the magnetic lasso tool to select an area of choice and then color it in with edit,. Go to fill, choose color, and then adjust the opacity so that the color will show while the picture remains visible.

Assignment 6a: Gradient Chick

I have created a chick today, and I am proud of that. It was made by 2 gradients( circle and diamond) the brush tool, and the text box as well. Now, it is just staring to the side, wondering who‘s nearby.

Assignment 6b: Drawing

This assignment required me to create my own drawing with three gradients and two different brushes on Adobe Photoshop. In hindsight, this was all I could think of drawing, which was suppose to be the default wallpaper for windows background. Still, it was close enough.

Assignment 6c: Power point Cover

The power point needed a Front cover, so here it is. With Adobe Photoshop, the software used in the great majority of my assignments, I Made this by applying a gradient and then altering it to look like the image to the right. Then of course I placed the text in the center and all the rest on the corner.

Assignment 7: Glass Texture

This time, I had to write my name while applying a glass text effect. The assignment helped me explore the different settings that can be applied towards each layer created to form something spectacular, like this effect to the right. Of course I did have help from the tutorial I was sent to, but now I know how to repeat the steps. More or less, anyways...

Assignment 8: Photo-filled Last Name

In this assignment, I learned how to photo fill text using Adobe Photo Shop. Frist, I had to open a file with 6x4 workspace and 100 resolution. Thenwards, I open a photo and then save as aa picture. Once that’s done, I apply the text layer to write my name with a large font for better effect. Then I create a copy of the layer and another layer to create a clipping mask in order for the text to become transparent. Finally all you have to do ids edit the picture any way you want it to be and voila, it’s finished!

Assignment 9: Plastic Text

Today, I had to write my last name with another effect, using photo shop indubitably. This time it was with a plastic effect, to make it look loke it was sort of popping out of the screen. Learning to do this and other previous assignments have given me enough info. On how to make other sorts of things like possibly a banner or a poster. This is really helpful in giving text some definition and aesthetical characteristics to better appeal to a viewer.

Assignment 10: Crazy Text

This project was done by using Adobe Photoshop. Since it was going to count as a test, it required me to try my hardest on this assignment. I also learned how to distort thetextsimply by going over the move tool, selecting the desired area and going to Edit selecting the Free transform option and then right Clicking and selecting distort. It might of sounded like a lot while I was doing this, but to be honest, it wasn’t much to deal with. The rest was also easy to do, as I had access to a tutorial, again.
