To Whom It May Concern, Greetings! I have known John for over a decade. I had the opportunity to hire interview and hire John as a Marketing Consultant at Bill Good Marketing, Inc. in 2003. I then worked with John as his manager until December 2006 when I left the firm. We have continued our contact since then. Two things impressed me with John in our interview (so much so that I still remember it) and those skills proved to be his greatest strengths while we worked together. The first thing that impressed me was his ability to communicate clearly and thoroughly his thoughts and ideas. He has continued to display those communication skills through his writing. The second thing that impressed me was his integrity. John was always open and honest about what he didn’t understand even when it could be perceived as a weakness compared to other potential and current consultants. He is great at asking questions and that is the key to a great consultant and too many wouldn’t “admit” lack of knowledge through asking the right questions. Those were key traits we looked for in a consultant. Our consultants were responsible for taking a very complex system, explaining it in simple terms to Financial Advisors and their staff, and provide the encouragement and follow through to help these teams implement the system to be successful. As these teams achieved success they would continue paying for support. John was a very successful consultant/coach. He had one of the highest (if not the highest) renewal rates amongst his clients. This meant that his clients perceived enough value in his abilities and the relationship they had with him to continue to pay the annual fees. I attributed his success to his interest and effort in getting to know his clients well enough that he could then explain in terms they would most likely understand how to implement the system. John was also always prompt and worked hard to get his job done (even if that required some extra hours). I highly recommend John Fox.
