The Board of Trustees of the Ossining Public Library is pleased to share the proposed Ossining Public Library operating budget for fiscal year 2019/20. We were challenged this year to develop a budget within our allowable tax levy limit (tax cap) of 2.16%. The budget we are submitting for your approval does not exceed this limit. This budget allows us to provide the level of service that our community has come to expect from us and maintains our library hours, collections, programs and services.

The proposed budget for next fiscal year is $4,227,976, with $4,085,076 to be raised by tax levy. The

proposed budget also supports a space planning assessment, which will allow us to best use the space in the library to support our service to the public.
