1. Evaluation Question 7. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product? 2. Medium Shot The two following shots are both attempts of medium shots. However, the one on the left (from my final production) is better executed than the one on the right (from the preliminary task). This is because the shot framing is much more proportionate than the almost full bodies shown in the right screen shot. 3. Perspective Shot These two shots are perspective shots. Again, the shot on the left is from the final production and the right hand shot from the preliminary task. The left shot is the better executed because the right shot better shows an over the shoulder shot whereas the left one is a first person filmed shot therefore giving a greater perspective. 4. Match On Action This is a screen grab from the preliminary exercise, it is a good example of match on action. In the final piece we did not feature any match on action which is one thing which we should've put in. 5. Transition blur This is a screen grab from our final piece. It shows the use of a transition blur to merge two separate shots together. We did not use a transition blur in the preliminary task. This shows progression from the two tasks because we have used one in the final piece but didn't in the preliminary task. 6. Long Shot Below is two screen grabs, again the left one being from my final piece and the right from the preliminary task. The long shot to the left is the better one because it is in a better focus than the right one. Also, the framing is much more consistent than the one to the right which is quite inconsistent 7.
