And, if you’re accustomed to placing your submission through Policy Works, you can expect the same quick quote response from Aviva.

Aviva Onpoint™

Created specifically for small businesses, Aviva Onpoint™ insurance is a ready-to-go solution with broad-based protection and enhanced coverage options — all in one simple to understand policy. Your client will benefit from relevant coverage at an affordable price point, including a minimum policy premium of $500*. Aviva Onpoint™ insurance is available for Business and Professionals, Contractors, and Retailers. Be sure to look out for future segment offerings.

Ally Express

Ally Express lets you submit an insurance application by email and receive an automated email response with a bindable quote right away. To see how we can make doing business with us easier, we learned about your small business workflows, processes and the challenges and opportunities around them. We outlined design principles and supporting features to fuel the development of solutions.

We met with brokers from across Canada to understand what truly matters to them in the small business space.

We established guiding principles that are most important to you.

We finalized the Aviva Ally concept with three submission pathways that give you the flexibility to transact small business whichever way works best for you. We then piloted the Ally Digital Portal and Ally Express to gain additional broker feedback.

Aviva launched its first Broker Hackathon. The winning concept was a digital platform that would allow brokers to quote, bind and pay for small business insurance. To validate that we would build something that would truly add value to brokers, we set out on a project to gain insights from brokers on how to better serve their needs.

If your client outgrows their Aviva Onpoint™ insurance policy, talk to your Aviva Ally Underwriter about moving your client’s coverage onto an Aviva Enterprise™ insurance policy, which is our SME product. Your client will continue to benefit from an insurance policy that is flexible to meet their needs and with a policy that includes all locations and operations in one Property and Casualty policy.

What are the different ways I can submit my application for an Aviva Onpoint™

insurance quote through Aviva Ally?You can submit your application for an Aviva Onpoint™ insurance quote in three ways: Ally Email, Ally Express, and through the Ally Digital Portal.

How do I get access to Aviva Ally and its various submission pathways to obtain an Aviva Onpoint™ insurance quote? To get started using Aviva Ally and its three different pathways to obtain Aviva Onpoint™ insurance quotes, please contact your Business Development Representative.

I’ve recently bound a policy but I have not yet received my client’s policy number. How do I access it? All policy numbers can be found on the Ally Digital Portal’s dashboard. It can take up to 24 hours for the policy number to be available once the policy has been bound. Please contact your Aviva Ally Underwriter if the policy number is not available on the Ally Digital Portal dashboard 24 hours after the policy has been bound. To access a digital copy of the client’s policy, please use DocXpress, available on Aviva Partner.

My client’s business doesn’t fit the requirements needed to get an Aviva Onpoint™ insurance quote through Aviva Ally. Is there another way to obtain a quote? Yes! If your client’s business does not fit the requirements to get an Aviva Onpoint™ insurance quote, we still want to see your request. Contact your Aviva Ally Underwriter as your client may be better suited to our Aviva Enterprise™ insurance product offering for SME businesses.
