Membership Appreciation and Annual MeetingSection 705 had their 49th Annual Membership Appreciation Meeting and Dinner on Saturday, March 18, 2017. What an event! Everyone who attended received complimentary gifts, a delicious meal catered by Early’s Catering, and the chance to win some awesome door prizes. Our grand prize was $750 cash for the adults and a Kindle Fire for the kids. Heather Touchet was the lucky winner of the grand prize for the adults. Madison Dupuis won the grand prize for our mini-members! Rickey Allemand won the CULAC 50/50 drawing.

Two of the other major giveaways Section 705 provided were scholarships for our young adult members to aid in their pursuit for higher education. Here at the credit union, we truly believe in the importance of education. That’s why, each year, we reward outstanding high school seniors and college students with scholarships to help them on their journey. We are happy to congratulate Hannah Nottingham, winner of the $1250.00 scholarship, and Jacob Pitre, the winner of the $750.00 scholarship. We would also like to recognize the scholarship finalists: Zachary Angelle, Carmen Calderon, Blair Estilette, Collin Girouard, Lauren Hebert, Noah Tate, Cassidy Landry, Max Perret, Meg Rinaudo, Kiera Sam, and

Ann-Marie Stelly. In addition to the scholarships awarded, Section 705 gave each Scholarship Finalist

$100 to help with school costs.
