Six quilts: 1 King, 1 Queen, 3 Twin, and 1 Crib were planned and created in one week by members of the Miami Valley Quilters Guild working with materials donated by members and by area quilt shops. A special Portrait Quilt created by Maria Elkins also was presented to the James Terpenning Family of Beavercreek, Ohio, who were featured on the television series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in the 2009 season.
