History
Target
Navision company was founded in
1984 in Denmark. On 11 July 2002
Microsoft bought Navision A/S to go
along with its previous acquisition of
Great Plains.
The new division in Microsoft was
named Microsoft Business Solutions
and also inc luded M icrosof t
Dynamics AX (Axapta) and CRM.
In September 2005 Microsoft
rebranded the product and re-
released it as Microsoft Dynamics
NAV.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV targets
small- and mid-market (SMB)
customers with 5 to 100 users.
