I currently support the role of SO and provide security management which incorporates identifying and defending against a full range of security risks to the asset. I capitalise on 8 years previous experience and specialist knowledge gained in Her Majesties Armed Forces to deal with all manner of challenges, and increase my effectiveness and efficiency in my role.

Duties & Responsibilities

Providing Security to a geographically diverse team and multi-skilled workforce, ensuring safety standards are maintained and adhered to.

Providing regular reports and recommendations to the management team on progress of action plans against agreed goals and targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Driving, servicing and maintaining military vehicles (Warrior Tanks, Land rovers etc)

Use and maintenance of hand and power tools and equipment (Assault Pioneers platoon).

Explosives to achieve small and large demolitions (Assault Pioneers platoon)

General site maintenance duties. Ensuring site safety and resilience against the foreseeable and

unexpected by being in a state of alertness and preparedness. Working collaboratively with military management teams to generate a

solutions focused approach to issues of change, conflict and development. Support & mentor new recruits to achieve compliance with procedures and

protocol. Performing under pressure addressing issues timely and constructively. Ensuring that all work is progressed systematically by identifying hazards

and controls.

Fell walking: In the local Lake District area. Keeping fit: by means of the gymnasium, swimming and playing local rugby.
