    Mr.M.M.Kamani and Mr.R.V.Kamani in Bhavanagar

    ventured to go for manufacturing ropes in small scale. At

    this point of time awareness about the use of thermo

    plastic polyment has been scanty in Bhavnagar region. A

    partnership concern kamani plastics industries thus

    come being.

    plastics ropes, niwar, and twine. It deals mainly with

    propylene granules are put inside the color mixer, in

    which different kind of colors like red, yellow, blue, green

    etc. are mixed then with help of extrusion process yarn is

    made.

    Then that yarn is winding at bobbin winder

    or cheese winder, after completion of that process, the

    processed yarn is given first twist. This process called

    rope yarn.

    After making the several yarns it is carried

    to the stand called strander, crill and the second twist is

    given, this process is called strand. The strand is given

    third twist and finished ropes are produce.

    Then with the help of coil winding machine

    the finished rope winding the up then it goes for packing

    and ready to dispatch.

    Polyethylene (high density) or poly

    propylene granules are the main raw material, which is

    available from Reliance, IPCL, HALDIA and GAIL import

    material is also used.

    PRODUCTS:-

    Plastic ropes comes in different sizes.

    H.D.P.E. ropes size varies between 2 mm. to 12 mm. It is

    comes in main five colors red, blue, green, yellow,

    orange. This colors are more demanded by the customers.

    P.P. Ropes size varies between the 4

    mm. to 40 mm. It is produced in only in yellow color.

    Fishing twine is available in 0.50 mm. to

    2 mm.

    The term working capital refers to that part of

    capital which is not tied up in fixed assets but is used to

    meet the day to day requirements of business. It is

    invested in current assets like cash stock bills receivable

    debtors etc.

    II. Net working capital

    Kamani plastics has unmarked working capital

    of the order of Rs. 10 lacks from its own

    resources .

    CONCLUSION

    Visiting kamani plastics industries was a very

    interesting and enjoyable experience I had never

    visited any plastic industry before so, it was really

    such kind of new experience.

    It is quite well maintain and modern industry

    where different types of automatic machines are

    being istaled.
