Our Stephen Ministers are children of God with gifts for care giving and have received 50 hours of training in providing emotional and spiritual care. Please be in prayer for new Stephen Ministers Jack DePriester, Judy DePriester, Mary Palmer, Sheila Reeves, and Ann Buchanan, who will be commissioned in our 9:40 and 11:00am services this Sunday, March 17. WOUNDS THAT HEAL Bring your pain to the cross. On Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm in Room 225, various speakers highlight the wonderful truth that in spite of our injuries and scars, God has not abandoned us. Through Jesus’ death on the cross, God enters our pain to bring healing and redemption. Join us! Educational Ministries, Tim Leslie LAST DAYS OF JESUS SEMINAR MARCH 22-23 A Palm Sunday Weekend Seminar, The Last Days of Jesus: The Greatest Story Never Told, is coming to First Pres Fellowship Hall on Friday evening, March 22 (6:00–9:30pm), and Saturday morning, March 23 (9:00am–12:30pm). Teacher Doug Greenwold of Preserving Bible Times will immerse you in the experience of Passion Week from a first-century Jewish villager’s perspective. Cost is $20 per adult ($30 at the door); $35 per couple ($50 at the door); $45 per family ($65 at the door). Evangelism and Missions, Brian Stewart DOMINICAN REPUBLIC MISSION TRIP FPC will be sending a mission team again this year to La Romana, Dominican Republic. The trip dates are June 15-22.
