TWELFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME JUNE 21, 2020Bulletin Sponsors:

Our bulletin is furnished free of charge because of the generosity of our advertisers. We thank all our sponsors for their continued support. Please contact our bulletin advertisers when you are in need of goods and services they offer.

Enthrone your home to the Cared Heart of Jesus. All the information house need for Enthronement is available at welcomhisheart.com. There are three ways a parishioner can obtain a self-guided Enthronement package: Order a package online to be shipped to their home. Order online digital download – call Dan and Sharon Boyden at 740-808-0395 or at 614-226-7327 to have a package delivered to their home.

PSR and Youth: As things slowly return to normal, St. Mark’s PSR staff is directing hopeful attention to next fall’s classes. We have no answers yet about how these classes might be conducted. However, the staff will continue to monitor the class options and communicate them to you as we receive them. In the meantime, we are going to plan as if classes will be in person on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

• Online registration for next year’s PSR classes: https://stmarklancaster.com/y

Next year is also a Confirmation year! Currently, Confirmation classes are scheduled to begin in October for teens in at least the 8th grade. We ask that you register your child early because we need to line up meetings with parents and service projects for the youth. Call Debra Kaminski at 740-653-1229 if you have questions or wish to enroll your teen.

We are also thinking positive thoughts about next season’s volunteers! It is policy that anyone in the Catholic church who volunteers with children MUST complete a Protecting God’s Children (PGC) class and have a completed background check on file. At St. Mark, this includes anyone who works with Scouts, Catechists, room volunteers, Homeschoolers, kitchen servers, babysitters, baseball, or any area where children are present.• There is no charge to you for either the background

check or the PGC class.• The background check requires getting paperwork from

Theresa Brunney (in the office) and then going to the BMV for fingerprinting.

• You must register for the Protecting God’s Children class. You do this online by typing in the link below into your browser: https://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/reg_list2.cfm?theOrgID=18023&theme=0. Once in the Virtus registration site, choose: Tuesday, June 23, 2020 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. (St. Matthew, Gahanna) The PGC classes are being conducted through Zoom and THE SESSIONS FILL UP QUICKLY, so please do not delay if there is ANY chance you will be working with children in the coming year.

Living I Do: What is your spouse’s most despised chore? Leave a note that you are taking it on this week, and then deliver. It could be something small like putting out the trashcans or making the bed. Or, ask if you can do that despised chore together this week. Even small commitments like these communicate thoughtfulness and gratitude to your spouse.

Our Spiritual Babies Month 5: our Spiritual Babies have made it halfway through their journey to birth. They are very active, and Mom can feel them move, kick and stretch (especially when she is resting). The babies have now developed their own sleep habits. Some babies born at this age have survived. Please pray that these babies remain safe and continue to grow avoiding the struggles of premature birth. Please continue to collect your change to donate in October. Also, if you want to shop, these families could use any baby items. If you're still wanting to avoid the stores, you can submit a check in October to offer your support. Thank you and God Bless!
