Reward offered in case of animal cruelty Angel's Animal Rescue is offering a reward for information about the hang- ing death of a dog on the Coldwater Re- serve. The notice was posted on their facebook page on Nov. 18: “We are offer- ing a substantial reward for information leading to the apprehension of the man/men or woman/women that com- mitted the cruel act of wrapping a dog’s muzzle with barbed wire and hanging it. This animal was found dead at the Cold- water Reserve. Please contact Angel's Animal Rescue or Merritt RCMP to re- port any information you may have in re- gards to this incident. If you have information pertaining to other animal cruelty acts please call Angel's Animal Rescue, the RCMP or the SPCA. Be brave, don't turn a blind eye to what you know is wrong. To protect you, your informa- tion can remain completely private.” Police have confirmed that the inci- dent took place on Nov. 1.
