    backhaulnetworkstohandlethisexplodingIPdata

    thatistotransitionfromTDMtopacketIP/Ethernet,

    thatwillneedtobeoverhauledforLTEdeployments.

    Andincreasingly,theconvergedfixed/mobilebroad-

    bandservicemixofferedbyserviceprovidersalso

    competinginresidentialandbusinessfixedbroad-bandarecomingintoplayandcanequallybeinte-

    gratedintoonesimplifiedCarrierEthernetTransport

    backhaulsolution.

    TheNokiaSiemensNetworksapproach:optimizingbackhaulisnotonesizefitsall

    CarrierEthernetTransportisthebestsolutionfor

    manycustomers,eithertolowercostsandsimplify
