EKA: $2M SALES PIPELINE IN 3 WEEKS
» Situation:Eka sell commodity risk management software for agribusiness. They entered a new market (mining) and launched the product in APAC. With one sales director, they needed to hit the ground running.
» Solution:Modern Media mined LinkedIn to find CFO within the mining sector in Australia (both connected and out of network).
» Result:Over 150 CFOs were identified with connections highlighted. Within weeks, the sales director had secured a pipeline of $2m with Rio Tinto. Six months on, the pipeline is $8m directly from this exercise.

SYNTHETIX: 650% IN QUALITY OF SEO TRAFFIC
» Situation:The right volume of traffic, but not the right quality. Keywords pulling in visitors were based around clients’ keywords and not niche or product related.
» Solution:Thorough keyword research to identify target keywords and copy optimised for SEO. Content distribution and social media were also implemented to support inbound links and traffic.
» Result:A 212% increase in the number of keywords ranking and a 650% increase in the quality of traffic to the website and blog.

VIVANTIO TRADE SHOW: 30% INCREASE IN LEADS
» Situation:SITS is the largest service desk show in Europe and key event in Vivantio’s marketing calendar. The success of the show was deteriorating and the show was failing to deliver a ROI.
» Solution:Modern Media provided a full trade show recommendation including revisiting all printed materials, pre/during/post show communications, promotional materials, press relations and visitor engagement or ‘hooking’.
» Result:Over 283 demos took place at the show, 471 visitors scanned resulting in 71 ‘hot’ leads. This was a 30% increase in leads on the previous year.

VIVANTIO PPC: 53% REDUCTION IN BUDGET
» Situation:Vivantio provide ITSM software to the mid- market. Main source of marketing leads came from Google PPC with spend in six figures. Requirement to reduce spend without affecting conversion quality and volume.
» Solution:Managed and optimised the PPC account over 4 months including conversion analysis, ad group restructuring, scheduling, campaign settings and ad testing.
» Result:Retained quantity and quality of leads but reduced spend by 53%, enough to employ 2 new developers.

» Situation:Finding high quality leads for the web self-service sector is difficult. Working across multiple sectors, with different types with structures, makes effective lead generation difficult.
» Solution:Creating a series of topical white-papers for distribution primarily through social media and their website (survey, business case and best practice). Content was matched to needs and concerns of key stakeholders to ensure targeted results.
» Result:A 600% rise in the number of leads matching the target company profile.
MSM SOFTWARE: CONTENT STRATEGY
» Background:MSM Software develop bespoke software solutions and specialise in working with risk and insurance industries. Targeting business analysts and IT directors in large, national companies.
» Solution:Modern Media ran two buyer profile workshops to determine the key buyers and their mindset, content was mapped to stakeholder and stage in the buying process and new content is being created to be delivered over the next year.

UNIFY COMMUNICATIONS: MARKETING AUTOMATION SET-UP
» Background:This telecoms start-up wanted to hit the ground running to deliver meetings fast. The requirement included set-up and all content and campaign materials across two product ranges.
» Solution:Modern Media defined the framework for all marketing activity, email activation and nurture programmes to those within the CRM.
» Result:Fully functional and performing marketing automation platform along with all content (emails, lists, CRM sync, scoring, brochures and PDF downloads) complete within 6 weeks.

» Background:MSM Software typically have long sales cycles and wanted to get a better handle on which channels were delivering high value, converting leads. More importantly, they wanted to start tracking how leads behaved down the pipeline to assess the effectiveness of marketing programmes and understand ROI from long term campaigns.
» Solution:Modern Media developed a complex tool that drew on data from Salesforce, Google, Act-On (marketing automation platform) and offline campaigns to determine average lead conversion time and ROI from past activity.
