Modular 4K is an award-winning, premium range of customisable HDMI matrix switchers capable of routing, switching and distributing high-bandwidth signals, up to and including 4K ULTRA HD*.

With Modular 4K, you can mix and match input and output module types to custom build your matrix to the required size and specification, and even integrate a remote source away from the rack. Every Modular 4K matrix is manufactured in the UK, giving the product dependable build quality and reliable switching performance. Setup and configuration are made easy with webOS, Modular 4K’s browser-accessed matrix operating system. The online Command Centre lets you monitor the health of the matrix from anywhere in the world.

Features Award-winning matrix designModular 4K is an industry-leading matrix that has won the CEDIA Award for Most Innovative Product, SVI’s Award for Best Video Distribution System and the Essential Install Award for Product Launch of the Year.

Custom build your matrix Build a chassis to have the exact number of inputs and outputs needed; an 8x8 chassis could be configured, for example, to be a 4x6 or a 5x8. Incorporate a mix of signal transmission technologies within the same Modular 4K matrix. Modules include HDMI, a remote source input module, HDBaseT-Lite and HDBaseT-Pro, all of which can be mixed and matched in a single system.

Matrix webOS Every Modular 4K matrix features webOS, a browser-accessed matrix operating system that presents installers with a suite of advanced tools for matrix setup, integration and configuration. Use webOS to program and manage a set of rules-based system actions in response to particular routing scenarios in order to guarantee desired system behaviour.

Command Centre You can remotely monitor the system health of Modular 4K matrices from anywhere in the world via the web-accessed Command Centre. When set to ‘auto’ Modular 4K can independently ‘call home’ to obtain the most recent firmware updates, eliminating the need for human intervention.

HDMI-CEC Additionally, webOS allows installers to tap into the powerful capabilities of CEC control. HDMI-CEC triggers functions by communicating directly via the existing HDMI cable. No IR kit or cables are required with CEC, making for an easier and neater installation. Use CEC to change sources at a display using the TV’s own remote and take advantage of Device OSD Name Transfer.
