Marcus Daly strikes copper at the Anaconda mine in butte: the first rail road enters Montana.

Historical People

Glacier national park was established in 1910, and has 250 lakes with in its boundaries.

The Legislative branch is called the Montana Legislature. It includes a house of representatives with one hundred members, and a senate, with fifty members.

Famous Sites

Billings is the largest city and has 80,000 people.

Malmstrom air force base is located in the great falls.

Important cities

Montana has the largest grizzly bear population in the U.S, excluding Hawaii and Alaska.

Together, the elk, deer, and antelope populations outnumber the human population in Montana.

WOW facts

My opinion is that Montana is the best place ever. You might not think so if you’re surrounded by T.V all day, but if you go there, you’ll never want to leave.
