OUR RESPONSE TO GOD’S REVELATION

Congregational Response

ALL Guide me O thou great Jehovah, pilgrim through this barren land,

I am weak but Thou art mighty, hold me with Thy powerful hand

*Congregational Singing “For the Might of Your Arm We Bless you” MOUNTAIN CHRISTIANS

For the might of Your arm we bless You,

Our God, our fathers’ God;

You have kept Your pilgrim people

By the strength of Your staff and rod;

You have called us to the journey

Which faithless feet ne’er trod;

For the might of Your arm we bless You,

Our God, our fathers’ God.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us

throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let

us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus

the pioneer and perfector of our faith.” (Hebrews 12:1-2a NIV)

May the shadow of Your presence

Around our camp be spread;

Baptize us with the courage

With which You blessed our dead;

O keep us in the pathway

Their saintly feet have trod;

For the might of Your arm we bless You,

Our God, our fathers’ God. C SILVESTER HORNE

No light in the darkness you see?

And life more abundant and free!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,

Look full in His wonderful face—

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim

In the light of His glory and grace.

ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS Rev Richard Kingham (Remain Seated)

Thro’ death into life everlasting

He passed, and we follow Him there;

Over us sin no more hath dominion–

For more than conqu’rors we are!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,

Look full in His wonderful face—

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim

In the light of His glory and grace.

(Please Stand)

His word shall not fail you – He promised;

Believe Him, and all will be well:

Then go to a world that is dying;

His perfect salvation to tell!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,

Look full in His wonderful face—

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim

In the light of His glory and grace. H H Lemmel

*CONGREGATIONAL HYMN OF PERSONAL DEDICATION

“I Will Run to You”

Your eye is on the sparrow

And your hand it comforts me.

From the ends of the earth

To the depths of my heart,

Let your mercy and strength be seen.

You call me to your purpose,

As angels understand,

For your glory may you draw all men

As your love and grace demands.

And I will run to you

To your words of truth.

Not by might, not by power

But by the spirit of God.

Yes, I will run the race ’til I see your face.

Oh, let me live in the glory of your grace.

*Pastoral Charge Rev Josh Williamson

You call me to your purpose,

As angels understand,

For your glory may you draw all men

As your love and grace demands.

And I will run to you

To your words of truth.

Not by might, not by power

But by the spirit of God.

Yes, I will run the race ‘til I see your face.

Oh, let me live in the glory,

Oh, let me live in the glory,

Oh, let me live in the glory of your grace.
