SL Globe Theatre seats 400this 4-sim open-air amphithea-tre with three gallery floors,and a pit with plenty of stand-ing room is where SL theatrehistory is made.

Blackfriars Theatre seats 100beneath its hammerbeam roof,intimate shows are staged on aquintessentially Elizabethan

stage, with audience memberson stools, benches, or terracedbox-seating. Foundation sup-ported by rib-vaulting, to con-struct the entire monasterybuilding that Shakespearesindoor theatre was originally

set in.

Founded in 2007, the Metaverse Shakespeare Company (MSC),formerly known as the SL Shakespeare Company, a.k.a., SLSC,is the rst and only professional theatrical production troupeset completely in the virtual world of Second Life (SL).

Metaverse Shakespeare Companys SL Globe Theatre , BlackfriarsTheatre , and Rose Theatre are constructed with deference toscholarship from a variety of reputable RL sources. The SLGlobe Theatre holds a maximum audience possible in a localityon SL, with its 4 -island sim setup.

Old World meets New , Metaverse Shakespeare Companys Shake-speare island sim features an elegant, island -sized layout thatconnects the Bard's houses in Shakespeare's Stratford -upon -

Avon with the theatres that presented his original plays.

Open to the public , the above venues are home to the Metaverse Shake-speare Company (MSC), where many of the MSC's productions rst tookplace from stage -sized versions in the Globe or Blackfriars , to sim -sizedversions that showcased entire troupes of players gallivanting on skatesin Shakespeare on Ice.
