ultiRange Platforms deliver the highest reproducibilityof capacities from six lb to six tons…and equivalent metric ranges too.Choose from bench, stand, flooror pit scales in stainless, carbonor hot galvanized construction.They're all dust and water tight toNEMA 4 (IP65) standards.Pit frames, ramps, and otheraccessories are available.

The Measuring SystemThe electromagnetic ForceCompensation system used inMultiRange scales determinesweight by measuring the magneticforce needed to counter the down-ward pull of gravity and support theload placed on the scale.

As a result, MultiRange scalesaccurately detect weight changes asslight as one part in 320,000(eternal resolution) in weighingapplications, and to one part in3,200,000 (internal resolution) incounting applications. Eachmeasuring cell is equipped with aninternal calibration weight.

MultiRange-xIntrinsically Safe Scales

When your application calls forprecision weighing in a hazardousarea, the solution is a MultiRange-xintrinsically safe scale. OnlyMettler Toledo offers such a widerange of hazardous area scales.Every MultiRange-x platform from15 kg to 6000 kg (select frominside chart) can be ordered inan intrinsically safe version (orderwith the -x suffix).

The ID2sx is the designated termi-nal to use with MultiRange-x plat-forms in a hazardous area. TheID2sx is installed with the GD13xpower supply. If data output isneeded, connect a GD15x interface(located outside the hazardousarea) to your computer or printer.

If automatic control of your fillingor batching process is required,attach a MultiRange-x platformto a GD130x power supply. TheGD130x is then connect to theGD15x interface (located outsidethe hazardous area) which is con-nected to the ID5 terminal withDosPac software to control yourvalves or feeders. Another optionis to attach the GD15x to a PLC orcomputer to control your process.
