I was reared by a public school teacher and a pastor.

I like to tell people I had no chance of ever being emotionally illiterate.

Honestly, I believe that God places us in the families we are born in because He uses our life stories to weave together one tapestry called the Kingdom of God. He interweaves our stories together with His redemptive power. He makes beauty from our ashes. I believe we all have a story to tell that will touch others. I believe I can help others learn to tell their own story.

God has used my life story and my training to equip me to touch the lives of families, children, and the lost.

I have worked with residents of a domestic violence shelter, squirmy children on a school bus, and adorable infants and toddlers at a daycare.
