Poetry for YouThe definitions of poetry is too hard to understand All of us dont believe in one Not even by a show of handsThere are lots, you know is trueBut heres my definition Which I think is strong and true A poem is strong, descriptive, and you It can show how you feelON certain things, like YOUIt has imagery, onomatopoeia, metaphor, and simileWhite as a cloud, a simile would sayFrom Hey! to Boohoo! is all you have to sayJust take a paper and think of something new For you have a poemThat is right for YOU!-Justin Mitchell-

My Death The best year of my lifeI was twenty-one years old when I diedI was with my best friend, Daniel HarrastWe were walking home from our home basketball game We won that night, 96 to 84We cut through an alley to go to my house Out of nowhere Katy Perry comes out in front of usWe were scared and started running away Scared and worried, Daniel pulled out a gunTook a shot and missedThat was the last bulletKaty Perry pulls out her gun and shoots usWe fall flat on the ground Our young lives our over

Justin jumped into the jaguars jelly bean jar.Jabbed a Jack-o-lantern juice into a jam jar.Jumped in his jeans when he met a Jay named Joey.Flied in a jet with a jellyfish. And bought jewelry in the jungle.Justin met Jasper in Jacksonville. He is always a joker with the jury.Justin plays jazz with a jerk.Justin loves to jack jackknifes.

Snow DaysWhen students bed on a cold winters nightAnd hoping snow will fall tonight And Jim looks out the window, all is right And hip hip hooray all that night When school is closed, for all is white They scream and fight and have snowball fightsAhhhhhh! snowball in the faceA merry day,While they dip their heads in snow all dayWhen all the kids are done that dayAnd I go inside and say What a day.And warm hot soup runs through my mouth And I go to bed that very night When snow will come again the next dayThen all will be good and will have fun againAhhhhhh! snowball in the face A merry day,While they dip their heads in snow all day

The summer rays shine bright on us. The big blue pool we jump in to refresh us through our hot days. Summer is the best season of the year! Justin Mitchell

I live in a nice warm bed to sleep at night Humans come and love to pet meWhen white stuff comes down I love to roll and play When I catch a toy I bite it and it squealsI bring it back to go again Blankets are all around the house So I can lay and sleep all dayThey call me TajaThey love me so When they rub my belly it feels so goodWhen dinner comes Its gone in a flash And watch my owners eat tooWhen some fall I snatch it up When springtime comes I love the pool I walk around and lay in the sun Roll in the green grassAnd let my coat shine, shiny blonde I lick the cement It taste really goodI stay in my bed for a very long timeThey come for me but then they leaveI am not sure why but when the time comesThey will be back and the days will start overAnd the fun will begin againWhen the humans play with me once again
