About Graduate School, NU

Graduate School is an organization, which regulates, supports, and assess the graduate studies of Srinakharinwirot Unviersity (Phitsanulok Campus) since 1974.

The campus was officially granted university-status named “Naresuan University” on July 29th, 1990,

Since then, we are the Faculty-Leveled organization of “Naresuan University”.

English Language Proficiency Students need to submit the proof of English Language Proficiency in the first academic year.

Credit Transfer

Requirements

• No longer than 5 years preceeding admitted

• At most 1/3 of total program credits

• Approved by Advisor, Head of department, and Dean of program major

Submit the request to dean of graduate school for consideration

Comprehensive Exam (Master Plan B)

Requirement : Pass all core-courses

– take at least one academic year

When: 3 times in one academic year

– July, November, and February

Pass: At least 70 percent of total score

Qualifying Examination (Doctoral Degree Program) Requirement :

1. Pass the requirement of English Language Proficiency

2. Take all course-work related to subjects of the qualifying examination (at least one academic year)

Pass: At least 70 percent of total score

Change of Major

Requirement: Approved by (1) advisor, (2) head of the department, (3) dean of origin faculty and (4) the faculty that accept the change of major

Submit the approved request to dean of

graduate school for consideration

Readmission

Requirement:

1. Terminated before maximum required time for degree program

2. Approved by dean of faculty’s program

Submit the approved request to dean of

graduate school for consideration

Leave of Absence

Requirement:

– Approved by (1) head of department (2) dean of faculty’s program

– Pay the leave of absence fee for each semester

Submit the approved request to dean of

graduate school for consideration

Grading System

Requirement :

1. At least “B” otherwise “re-enroll” the course

2. GPA >= 3.00 to earn the degree

Terminated if GPA < 2.50 for one academic year
