For a particularly seductive herbal wrap, which

looks and smells more suitable for the dinner

table than the body, visit Naviya Spa and

Intercontinental Hotel Phnom Penh. Here the

hotel chef mixes especially a closely guarded

recipe consisting out of white mud, milk and

turmeric, herbs and sesame oil which smells

divine and feels soft and silky when applied

onto your skin. Your body is gently covered with

sheet, topped with towels while the creamy

mud concoction draws out any infection and

process has been practiced in the palaces

of Central Java since the 17th century.

There, the pursuit of beauty has long been

a daily ritual and the Javanese Lulur an

integral step, leaving skin soft, supple

and shining. It is an aromatic experience

and lovely for all skin types, although, if

you are having difficulty choosing a body

treatment, this one responds best to

younger skins. The turmeric content can

turn skin temporarily yellow, but generally
