Washington Navy Yard Tragedy One-Year Anniversary Observance
& Remembrance CeremonySeptember 16, 2014, 6:00 PM

Join the communities of the US Navy, Washington Navy Yard, Capitol Riverfront, and Capitol Hill, as well as resi-dents of greater Washington, DC, for a memorial ceremony, in accordance with a recently enacted resolution of the Council of the District of Columbia, in remem-brance of the one-year anniversary of the Washington Navy Yard tragedy.
The memorial service will include prayers, readings, medi-tation, and music to honor the victims, survivors, families, and heroic civilian and military first responders that acted to save lives one year ago.
