2016 ACHA SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

Every year, NCCHA awards 2 scholarships for members to attend

the national ACHA conference – this year located in San Francisco,

CA. This years winners are:

SPRING 2016 STUDENT GRANT GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS COLLEGE• “Spread Love, Not STI’s”

• Peer Assistants and Health Service staff wore T-shirts advertising “Spread Love, Not STI’s”

• 70 students got free STI testing and pizza and punch following the event & 45 students provided feedback.

• Goal was to reduce the stigma about STI testing and promoting safe sex with education and free condoms.

• Students shared positive comments and are requesting the even again in the future.

EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING UPDATES

• Winter 2016 Board Meeting was held on

January 15th at Bethel University. There

were 8 board members in attendance.

• Meeting Minutes:
