a classical background (The Dufay Collective) diluted by some years in theIrish band After Hours. He is a stalwart of The Carnival Band, another

Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman Two outstanding folk musicians with an eclectic repertoire oftraditional, self-penned and cover songs. Kathryn, a superbvocalist, plays both piano and woodwind while Sean is a giftedacoustic guitarist. Kathryn first came to notice in her early 90s duowith Kate Rusby, before teaming up with the Lakeman brothersand Cara Dillon in the group Equation, which found particularsuccess in North America. More recently she and Sean haveworked as an acclaimed but low-key and occasional duo, inbetween the demands of a young family and Sean’s membershipof brother Seth’s hugely successful band.
