NCEP can be reached easily by car or by mass transit.  NCEP is right next to the Beltway (exit 7) in Camp Springs, MD.  NCEP is less than 1 mile from the Branch Ave metro (green) station (about 10-15 min walking). NCEP is in a bad neighborhood after dark & events can sometimes happen even during the evenings before sunset.

For those with cars, the closest nicer hotel is the Colony South & there are a few budget hotels across the street from NCEP (Country Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express). For Metro users, the closest nicer hotels are at the L'Enfant Plaza (green/yellow) metro stop (20 min away).

Security Reminder: If you have a NOAA or other govt agency picture badge, bring it along for easy building access. If you don't have a badge, be sure to have a picture ID to show the lobby guards. You'll need to swap it for a visitor pass each morning. They'll also be scanning all bags/briefcases in our lobby xray machine.
