Email With Gmail / Registration required beginning one month before the class. create, send, organize and attach files to emails. Prerequisite: computer essentials or experience using a mouse. this program is part of the connect ohio Grant. Mondays, June 17th, July 15th, August 19th 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Introductory Fiction Workshop Registration required. learn how to give and receive comments on your and others’ writing in a group setting with author eric anderson. everyone’s writing, whether from a previously written work or from in-class writing prompts will be critiqued. Wednesdays, June 19th, July 17th, August 21st 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

No More Excuses! Time Management for Writers / Registration required. carole calladine of the north ohio chapter of the society of children’s Book Writers and Illustrators shares how successful writers use time and how to jumpstart and complete a writing project with 10 essential writer tricks of the trade. Saturday, August 17th / 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The Phantasmagorical Steampunk Extravaganza / Registration required. Grade 6 – 12 Join Jim Kleefeld for an afternoon of magical entertainment. see working Victorian contraptions and watch amazing phenomena. handle gear and clockwork mechanisms. share incredible adventures based on books by h.G. Wells, Jules Verne and others! Saturday, June 29th / 2:00 p.m.

Hip Hop Camp Registration required beginning Wednesday, May 15th. Ages 11 – 18 develop your imagination, creativity, self-expression and teamwork skills while learning dJing, mcing (rapping), dance, and graffiti-style art with the Progressive arts alliance. Plan to attend all four days. Monday, July 8th thru Thursday, July 11th 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

HobBOT Camp: Or There and BOT Again / Registration required beginning Wednesday, May 15th. Ages 11 – 18 Program a robot to free the dwarves from trolls, escape the goblins, defeat smaug and complete Bilbo’s quest in tolkien’s classic The Hobbit. Plan to attend all four days. Parents, please sign a photo release prior to the program. Monday, July 15th thru Thursday, July 18th 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Cleveland Playhouse College Registration required beginning Wednesday, May 15th. Ages 11 – 18 Work closely with cleveland Playhouse teaching artists, performers and staff of a current mainstage show in this 5-day workshop to learn the elements of a professional theater. Plan to attend all five days. Monday, August 5th thru Friday, August 9th 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Cookies & Books / Registration required. Grades 3 – 5 discuss great books, eat tasty cookies and do a fun activity related to the book! Summer Reading Kick-off Party With Bonk the Juggler / Registration required beginning Wednesday, May 15th. Family aaron Bonk, cleveland’s object manipulation specialist, will astound and amuse you with cutting-edge juggling and comedy. Tuesday, June 11th / 7:00 – 7:40 p.m.

The Bubble Lady / Registration required. All ages Pop into the library and be astonished and amused as sue durante creates acrobatic bubbles, bouncing bubbles, supersize bubbles and more! Monday, July 1st / 7:00 p.m.

Tots Dance & Music Registration required beginning Wednesday, May 15th. Families with children from ages 2 – 6 have a great time dancing and moving to music with bean bags, scarves and more! Monday, July 22nd / 7:00 p.m.
