• The LC I was in was very disorganized and very unprofessional. Great people, terrible professionals. I had the worst host family ever, I asked to be moved and they didn't allow me. I was in a family where I felt uncomfortable, where there was no hot water (which,in -15 degrees Celsius is not acceptable) and no privacy. Our team leader was very disorganized and couldn't take criticism. I don't regret going because the cultural experience was amazing. Meeting the other trainees and learning about their countries was worth all the bad things I had to go through. I learned so much about the other cultures and about myself as a person and as a professional. I wish I'd been prepared for the difficulties I had to face, but they only made me grow.

• I consider the GCDP i participated in is the best experience I've ever had so far. It's a great opportunity to exchange cultural knowledge between people from different countries and continents ( 5 continents in my case) to learn about people and a variety of cultures. Learn about the local culture is a great experience too that it's spontaneously gained during the internship. One important thing too is the JD clarity and it's alignment with the TN form. In my case, everything was exactly matched with the TN and that was really satisfying with me.

• The project is a perfect opportunity to improve your skills in different areas, such as communication or presentation skills. It's a great chance to live and work in a multi-cultural environment and to exchange cultural experiences. And it's a good opportunity to present your own nation and culture and to change the image of your country in a better way, e.g. to destroy some stereotypes.

• I had to quit this project because everything was a complete joke since the very beginning. I was told I was going to stay at a flat with other trainees and we stayed in three different accommodations in less than a week. Moreover, the Manager of the project was not helpful at all. It was impossible to reach her via phone and she never provided clear information about the internship. We knew nothing about the students, their ages, and level of Spanish, so we couldn't really prepare the lessons to teach. When I decided to quit, they didn't even say sorry and showed no interest at all.

• In my exchange, I only interacted with two members of the LC. The other GCDP EPs and I were not introduced to the LC, its members or invited to participate in any social events, or aiesecer/ ceeder activities with the LC. As well, the LC created a TN form that was vague and incomplete about what the EPs should expect from them and the job. There seemed to be a miscommunication during the matching process where the other EPs and I would send many detailed and concise questions to the LC but get very short and incomplete answers from them. Consequently, when we had complaints about the program they just claimed that it was our fault to expect certain things from the LC and the program which were not clearly stated in the TN form.

• My GCDP experience was generally very positive. I met some amazing people and had a great time. The members of AIESEC in Plzen were welcoming, friendly and supportive. That said, the project was not well organised, and therefore offered only limited opportunities for personal improvement. I often did not know what I would be doing on each day until the night before. I was not clearly informed about the objectives of each stage of the project. I would not recommend this project to other people simply because it is stll very obviously in a formative stage. The people (and the experience) were great for me, but I think others would be disappointed (as I sometimes was) by the project's lack of organisation.
