1 Truck / Unimog: Display of sales descriptions of CTT-codes initiating with „A“ in combination with „real“ CTT codes

Until now only the sales descriptions of the 4 digit CTT- codes initiating with the letters “K”, “J” or “U” for branch 1 and 3 were shown in AFAB-Evo. For the CTT-Codes initiating with “A” and afterwards continuing with the 4 digit keys (with “K”, “J” or “U”) there are no descriptions shown until now. Nevertheless this would be helpful and more transparent in many cases for the AFAB-Evo users. For the mentioned CTT-Codes with “AK”, “AJ” and “AU” there are keys in the master data available but they are not valid in the technical aspects and therefore they have to be added with an “A” (Angebot = offer) as a CTT-offer-Code. From now on also these CTT-Codes initiation with „A“ in combination with a „real“ 4 digit CTT-Code with „K“, „J“ and „U“ will be shown with a sales description. In order to distinguish them from the “real” CTT-Codes the sales descriptions will start with the word “Angebot” in German, “Offer” in English, “Offre” in French and “Oferta” in Spanish. Important Note: This display will exist only in AFAB-Evo and won’t be forwarded to other systems (i.e. the descriptions of the “A”-CTT-Codes won’t be shown on documents from the invoicing system VAR and have to be added manually in “Texts incl. prices” in order to be shown and priced!).

2 Copy order: automatic transfer of entire date „Rq. Date” From now on the entire field „Rq.Date“ of the source order will be transferred on the target orders by copying (i.e. “Rq. Date = 15.12. 2014” in the source order will lead to “Rq. Date = 15.12.2014“ in the target orders) Until now the day indication of the „Rq. Date” (e.g. “15.12.2014”) was always transferred to the copied target orders as “00.12.2014”.



3 „Delivery period“ – format change The format of the field „delivery period“ in the date criteria of the filters in Processing Volume and Selections will be changed from the 4 digit to the standard 6 digit date format DDMMYY, i.e. also in this field a daily date will be supported from now on. Until now only the 4 digit format MMYY was possible! Note: Saved filters with an entry in this field will be transferred automatically into a valid format. There is no action necessary by the users.



4 Processing Volume & Selections – Relative date reference by application of variables

In the filters you can use from now on variables which support a relative date reference. E.g. you can select all the vehicles from a country which were finished in the last 3 days (that is “completion date” between the current date and – 2 days). Date references like e.g. working day, calendar day, week, month, year will be supported. Note: Regarding the working days there won’t be used the working calendar of the individual plants. A general view was defined using always Monday to Friday as working days. By entering variables (so no date values) they will be saved in the filter. The saved variables will be translated dynamically to the equivalent date values at the moment when the filter will be applied.

4.1 Possible variables

The following variables will be supported:

• KT-99 to KT+99 = current calendar day minus / plus 00 to 99 calendar days.

• AT-99 to AT+99 = current working day minus / plus 00 to 99 working days.

• WO-99 to WO+99 = current calendar week minus / plus 00 to 99 calendar weeks. A calendar week starts thereby on a Monday and ends on a Sunday.

• MO-99 to MO+99 = current calendar month minus / plus 00 to 99 calendar months.

• JA-99 to JA+99 = current calendar year minus / plus 00 to 99 calendar years.



4.2 Structure and meaning of the variables The variables consist generally of 5 digits. They have the following structure: „VV+nn“ or „VV-nn“. „VV“ defines the date reference, „nn“ the 2-digit number (00-99) of time units which have to be added on or subtracted from the specified date reference. Note: The time indications VV+00 and VV-00 (e.g. current day, current week, current month, current year) are identical and can be used optionally. A calendar day and a working day represent as a variable always a specific day and not a time period. So “KT-06“ on the 15.12.2014 stands for the 09.12.2014 and not for the time period from the 09.12.2014 to the 15.12.2014. A calendar week starts always on a Monday and ends on a Sunday. The indication „WO-01“ means then the calendar week before the current calendar week starting with the date from Monday to Sunday (and not the last 7 calendar days!). On the 17.12.2014 (Wednesday) the indication „WO-01“ means the week from 08.12.2014 (Monday) to 14.12.2014 (Sunday).

4.3 Dynamic Tooltip with „Mouseover“ regarding the variables

By entering the variables in the data fields the calculated date value will be shown as a tooltip whenever you move the cursor over the respective date field.

Note: The display of the tooltip refers always only to one field. If there is an entry in the FROM-field as well as in the TO-field then the tooltip will show only the date display in the FROM-field or in the TO-field depending on which field you move the cursor.



4.4 Additional checks and notes

• By entering variables in the FROM-/ TO-fields the validity of the respective time periods will be checked

• The TO-field entry must be later than the FROM-field entry. This fact will be checked too.

• In a date field can be entered either variables or date values (a mix in the same date field is not possible). But you can use for one date field variables and for another date field date values.

• By entering variables like month and year the date fields with a valid date reference = „00“ (e.g. Rq. Date, Delivery date quota) will be considered. Therefore for the variables calendar day, working day and calendar week this rule won’t be adopted.

• If a variable will be entered only in the TO-field and no entry in the FROM-field then the entry from the TO-field will be transferred also to the FROM-field.



Few examples: Example 1: Selection of orders with a Completion date until 3 working days ago tot he current date (20.12.2014) Result: all orders from the 17.11.2014 to the 20.11.2014 will be selected

Example 2: Selection of orders with a Rq. delivery date in the current month (November) Result: all orders with a Rq. Delivery date in the current month (00.11.2014 – 30.11.2014)

Example 3: Selection of orders with a Delivery period from the current month (November) until 2 months in the future Result: all orders with a delivery period of 3 months will be selected (current month + 2 further months).

Exampe 4: Selection of orders with a existing Completion date and a delivery release date on the current calendar day, 20.11.2014. Result: All of the completed units (independent from the completion date) with a delivery release on the calendar day 20.11.2014 will be selected.

Example 5: Selection of orders which were edited in a period from the last 5 calendar days until the current calendar (20.11.2014) day by your own user. Result: All orders from the 15.11.2014 (Saturday) until the 20.11.2014 (Thursday) edited by the user MWEILAND will be selected.

5 Selections – Selections across the different year of archive

Until now it was obligatory in the filter dialog of the SELECTIONS (selecting productive volume) to choose in the field „Orders/Archived Year“ between „Active Orders“ or a specific „Year of archive xxxx“. As a default value the „Active orders“ are set if no other value is chosen. From now on it is possible to select across the different active orders or archived orders by choosing the following new options („A“ or „B“).

The editing status of the selected orders won’t change. That’s means that as today archived orders are not editable any more.

In order to see in a selection across the active and archived orders from which status of active or archived orders the orders persist there was created a new field “S” (Stock) which can be chosen in the Selection views. Therewith you can see from which stock type the orders come from.

By selecting across the active and archived orders it is obligatory to choose exactly one branch as a filter criteria. The rest of the criterias can be freely selected. If there will be selected several branches at the same time an error note will be shown:

Note: The central selection views for the selection of productive volume include the new column “S” = stock. The maximum number of orders is 800. An increase of this number is planned for the second release R2/2015.

6 Processing Volume/ Selections – Copy order no. on clipboard

From now on it will be possible to copy one or several order number from a selection result on the clipboard and insert them again somewhere else. Few examples: Example 1: Copy one single order number from a selections result of the Processing volume

• Flag the order number in the selection result • Choose the option „Order no. on clipboard” in the context menu

The hotkey „Ctrl+C“ is supported when copying on clipboard.

• Change in Selections • Insert the copied order number with „Ctrl+V“

Example 2: Copy several order numbers from the Processing Volume

• Flag the order numbers in the selection result • Choose „Order no. on clipboard“ in the context menu or hotkey „Ctrl+C“

• Change to the option „Multiple amendment“ • Move the cursor to the first entry field • Right click and choose the option „insert order numbers“

• The copied orders will be inserted

7 Compare orders With the function „Compare orders“ it is possible to compare the technical data (Baumuster, Code, SP-REQ, weights etc.) of different orders/ objects. The following comparisons are possible:

• Several different orders with each other • Dispositive and productive status of orders • Several different AFAB-offers with each other • Order with AFAB-offer(s)

The functions „compare orders“ can be selected via context menu (right mouse click) in the following different functions:

• Processing Volume • Selections • Workbox

7.1 Choose offers for an order comparison At the order comparison you always have one reference order and one or several comparison orders. The reference order must always be entered manually or from the clipboard, the comparison orders can be entered manually or directly from the selection result. Therefore the respective comparison orders must be selected and flagged in the selection result. Via context menu the function “Compare orders” can be chosen.

First of all you reach the function „Select orders for order comparison”. The field “reference order” will be empty and the relevant order number must be entered manually or from the clipboard. The fields for the comparison orders will be preempted with the before selected and flagged orders from the selection result. Afterwards those still can be amended. Note: Maximum 40 comparison orders can be chosen.

Additionally there will be a choice box both for the reference order and the comparison orders where you must choose the status of the respective orders (dispositive or productive). For the comparison orders the status field will be preempted depending on the function where your selection were executed (e.g. from Processing Volume will be preempted with “dispositive” and from Selections will be preempted with “productive”).

After infilling/ chosing all the relevant fields you can go by confirming via “OK” button to the comparison view. Via “Check” button you can check before if all the relevant orders are existent. Via “Cancel” button the function “Compare orders” will be canceled.

7.2 Comparison view (Compare orders) In the comparison view will be shown in the left column the reference order and in the right column the comparison order. If there were selected several comparison orders there will be shown first of all the first order from the selected list.

Additionally there will be shown the number of comparison orders in brackets.

At the beginning of the comparison view there will be indicated in blue a note with the number of the technical correlations and differences.

The differences will be highlighted in yellow and with an exclamation point in the comparison order.

At the end of the comparison view various additional information will be shown. However the additional information won’t be compared, i.e. differences won’t be highlighted.

At the column headings will be shown next to the order number also the respective status (dispositive/productive). With a right mouse click in this field can be switched directly between the status (dispositive/productive) .

Furthermore you can go directly via the button „Order display“ to the order display of the respective order.

The view of the function „Compare orders“ can be changed via the radio buttons at the beginning of the comparison view. With the option “All” all technical facts will be shown, with the option “Only differences” only the technical differences will be shown.

Furthermore there exists a possibility to hide the additional information.

By default the radio buttons at Display „All“ and Additional information “Yes” are selected. However the user has the option to change this default individually. Therefore the respective radio buttons have to be chosen first and afterwards the user must click on the yellow star (top right). By selecting the function “Compare orders” the next time the new individually chosen view will be shown.

If there were chosen several comparison orders then the user can switch between the particular comparison orders by pressing the buttons “Previous” or “Next”. The preset of the radio buttons and the order status (dispositive/ productive) will remain the same.

By pressing the button „Change selection“ you can go always back to the selection dialog and change the choice of the reference order or the comparison orders.

7.3 XLS-Export By pressing the button „XLS-Export“ the comparison view can be exported as an Excel file.

The preset of the comparison view will be considered, e.g. if the radio button is set on “Only differences” then there will be exported only the technical differences to Excel if not then the whole technical details. The same applies to the additional information. Furthermore all the comparison orders will be automatically exported to Excel at an XLS-export, in other words if e.g. 5 orders were chosen for comparison then all the 5 orders will be exported. Example: Display „Only differences“, additional information „No“, several comparison orders

7.4 Print (PDF-Print) Via the button „Print“ the comparison view can be exported to PDF.

The preset of the comparison view will be considered, e.g. if the radio button is set on “Only differences” then there will be exported only the technical differences to PDF if not then the whole technical details. The same applies to the additional information. When printing only the current shown order comparison view will be exported to PDF, in other words if e.g. 5 orders were chosen for comparison then unlike with the “XLS-Export” not all the 5 comparison orders will be exported to PDF, every comparison must be printed seperately. Furthermore it isn’t possible to highlight the differences in yellow in the PDF format. In this case the differences will be flagged only with a “X”. 8 Canter: Order process optimizations After the monthly initial transmission of orders to the production plant Tramagal modifications of Baumuster weren’t possible any more for Canter. After the Release 3/2014 this will be possible also for Canter from January 2015 on. Modifications of Baumuster will be possible within certain groups of Baumuster. Intergroup changes will be refused by the system. The deadline for the modifications will be 7 weeks before the production month. The different modification deadlines for Baumuster/ Codes and Paint will be indicated on the “Dates” register as an additional information of the “Changebility-date/ -status”. Additional note: For technical reasons on the “Dates” register there will be still shown temporarily the changebility-date/ -status for Codes although the changebility deadline for Baumuster could be over already. Therefore it is always advisable to open and check the additional information with the 3 deadlines. As soon as the technical conditions will be created a “status light” will be implemented in one of the following releases considering all the different deadlines. Furthermore the plant will transmit in future much earlier than today a “tentative” PAT which will be used for the respective date calculations. There won’t be a transmission of the VIN-number with this tentative PAT, the VIN will be transmitted only with the final PAT. The previous system that order modifications had to be temporarily blocked after the initial transmission to the plant (until the feedback from the plant regarding PAT and VIN) will be disestablished again.
