Functionality

The planned depreciation is posted to the relevant general ledger control accounts when the periodic depreciation-posting is run

Scenario

Where parallel currencies the posting run uses a background session (FI Direct posting) not a Batch input session to post the planned depreciation for each posting level for each individual asset as a lump sum amount.When the system posts depreciation, it creates collective documents.

Requirements

Previous Fiscal Year for asset is closed and previous period’s depreciation has been posted.

2. Update the following fields:

Company code Code identifying the company purchasing the material 9100

Fiscal year Period, 12 months as a rule, for which the company is to create its inventory and balance sheet.

3. Click <checkbox> List assets to provide details of depreciation posted per asset.

4. Click <checkbox> Display all values generates an entry even if only planned or already posted values exist in the current year.
