Category: Tegan Lighting has teamed up with BUZZISPACE to offer BUZZI PLEAT Shades with Kore Ambient Pendants. The Kore Ambient Pendant’s High Output Quadrant heat sink features a hidden reflector and Frosted Acrylic Cylinder GEM.

The BUZZI PLEAT Ripple Shade consists of “eco felt” material made of 100% upcycled plastic bottles - good for the environment because it reduces waste. The felt shade material is sound absorbent, as well as being ecologically sound! BUZZI PLEAT is a pendant light that showcases remarkable craftsmanship in its large architectural folds that maximize surface and deliver exceptional acoustic performance.

Material: Kore Pendant: Aluminum and steel heat sink Acrylic Frosted Cylinder Gem. Aluminum and steel canopy with aluminum single stem suspension or SJ Cord.

Acoustic Shade Material: BUZZI FELT - 100% Recycled P.E.T. felt from plastic bottle waste with an acrylic backing. BUZZI FABRIC (CAT A) - 70% Recycled wool, 25% Polyacryl and 5% recycled other fabric. Shade Frame: Powdercoat finish Black (Only). Shade “Lace”: Off White or Black finish only; cotton blend. Shade AC Suspension Cable: Stainless Steel; Black (BLK) or Aluminum (AL) finish.

BUZZI PLEAT Shade: Acoustic sculptural shade with unique pattern including a black frame with four felt shade colors

to choose from as well as many fabric options.

Shade Finish: Shade - BUZZI FELT: Stone Grey (BFSG), Anthracite (BFAN), Off White (BFOW), Lime (BFLM). BUZZI FABRIC: The Pleat is available in a two color option. An extra layer of fabric can be added to either the Off White or Anthracite Felt to create two tone shade. See page 2 for fabric options. Shade Lace: Black (LBLK) or Off White (LOWH). Shade Frame: Powdercoated Black (BLK) only. BUZZI PLEAT Shades are artistic and are made to order. Shade Designer: Tegan has teamed up with an international company based in Belgium, BUZZI SPACE, to utilize its BUZZI PLEAT with our Kore Ambient LED Pendants. BUZZI PLEAT is the culmination of an artistic collaboration between BUZZI SPACE and 13&9 Design; an Austrian design firm consisting of Martin Lesjak (Contract Magazine’s Designer of the Year) and designer Anastasia Su.

Acoustic Shade: Shade mounts with 6.5' (2m) field-cuttable aircraft cable to the ceiling and is not structurally connected to the Pendant. Contractor to install shade to a reinforced ceiling to support the shade weight - 9.26 lbs. (4.2kg). Shade includes three (3) x fasteners and three (3) fixation M6 hardware. Ceiling screws not included. Refer to Installation Sheet for more details.
